I finally got to try the following fitness courses (pole dancing!!!) during the holiday last week! If you think the stunts are amazing, well yeah they are but they're just beginner poses. And I have three GIGANTIC bruises in my legs in exchange for those! :P It'll be obvious in one of my instavideos on the right feed! Happy weekend!!! =)

FF Explosion 3: Retro Pop

This was supposed to be posted last week but I was waiting for the photos from the official photographer but it's been 2 weeks now so I guess they'll never come. Sigh.
Fitness First held its explosion event for the Retro Pop class last July 20 at the Unilab Bayanihan Center. Its the same thing that we attend to in the gym only in a grander scale with everyone from other branches and more hours of dancing. There are dance performances from instructors and members themselves, giveaways and required costumes to make the event more fun! ;-)
The costume was retro but I didn't have any so I opted for the dress above. :P Though some mommies stood up for their short dresses and boots while dancing, me and my friends changed to something for comfy.
True to the theme, the disco balls started spinning around 6PM.
That left me and my sweat sister Lura pretty much waster after less than an hour. Hehe.

Make Your Move

For three consecutive Fridays last January (hey it's Feb 1! :p), Fitness First held an event called "Make Your Move" in Robinsons Manila. :) It was the regular Retro Pop and Zumba class I attend to in the gym but the venue was different.
Errr, as you can see from the pic below, it was held not in the GX classroom in the gym but rather in the Midtown Wing of the mall itself thereby attracting "viewers" to let them see that fun and fitness is really possible. :P Or so at least that's how I understood the project. LOL! Having heard of it only last Saturday (what do I know? Been MIA on the gym for weekends due to my trips, lol!), I decided to ask my boss' permission to leave early last Friday so I could participate. Hahaha!!! Sayang, exposure din yun! Hahaha, kidding! ;-) Nah, you know how I'm such an advocate of living healthy and exercise. I love RetroPop and with that class it is really possible to be ecstatic while dancing! I promise! :D
At first, I was really nervous when I saw the stage set-up. But when you're a natural, I guess you just wouldn't mind the crowd. :P
Super duper enjoyed it especially with friends in the gym. :) Have you ever thought about your fitness plans for this year?? It's still not too late! :)
