Gion

#traveltuesday

Gion is known as the Geisha district in Japan.  Though most references would say that this place comes alive at night, a daytime walk is just as lovely as it gives you a glimpse of the old Japan with its traditional wooden buildings, tea houses and exclusive Japanese restaurants.  Night time is the best time too to catch geishas/ geikos though we were lucky to catch two ladies in a hurry to a restaurant (but no pic, sad).  They're just so elusive. :P

Oh my I just love Japan so much! I love the first photo of sakura trees and I love the Japanese traditional clothings!
