Devouring Vivaldi

Came out last Thursday night to support my stylist friends/ SoFA classmates in the Devouring Vivaldi exhibit held at House Manila bar in Resorts World. The Selfless Minds featured the video exhibit of Christina Zabat and photo exhibit of the headshot master Niccolo Cosme. The girls styled some of the images as seen below. Of course our styling instructor Mr. Levenson Rodriguez was there. While it was also a reunion of sorts with the girls, it was also a good opportunity to meet some of the respected fashion designers of the country as represented by FaDAl Manila. Of course, being bombarded with editorials during our SoFA days, we simply wouldn't pass up on #ootd opportunities at the venue. We are sooo loving the classy vibe of this newest happening place in town. Most of the girls immediately changed their profile pictures to this backdrop as soon as the photos became available. Haha!

Nov 22, I'll be performing side by side with these seasoned instructors in the gym (upper row) and of course my friends and co-trainees (bottom row). Wow, there's just too much anticipation for it. So excited. :)

FF Explosion 3: Retro Pop

This was supposed to be posted last week but I was waiting for the photos from the official photographer but it's been 2 weeks now so I guess they'll never come. Sigh.

Fitness First held its explosion event for the Retro Pop class last July 20 at the Unilab Bayanihan Center.  Its the same thing that we attend to in the gym only in a grander scale with everyone from other branches and more hours of dancing.  There are dance performances from instructors and members themselves, giveaways and required costumes to make the event more fun! ;-)

The costume was retro but I didn't have any so I opted for the dress above. :P  Though some mommies stood up for their short dresses and boots while dancing, me and my friends changed to something for comfy.

True to the theme, the disco balls started spinning around 6PM.

That left me and my sweat sister Lura pretty much waster after less than an hour. Hehe.

HTC's Sensation Bring Sexy Back!

June 15, Wednesday.  HTC unveiled its highly anticipated phones: Sensation and Wildfire S.  The event was held at Republiq Club in Resorts World Manila.  I arrived just in time for Sam Concepcion's opening number "Fire Burning" while models dressed in sexy lingerie strut their stuff in the catwalk for a fashion show.

The party's theme is "Sexy is back!"  With its classy design, stunning display and powerful performance, owning an HTC Sensation is sexay!

After the opening speech of country manager Mark Sergio, the impressive features of the phone were then presented by the product marketing manager from Taiwan.  For more details on the specs, you can view it here.  Two very lucky winners from the audience were then picked from the raffle to win the phones.  The event was hosted by Phoemela Baranda and Meagan Young.

For the final part of the program, celebrity endorsers were then each interviewed about their favorite features of the phone.

The HTC Sensation is now officially in the Philippines with Smart offering the handset for free at Plan 3000 or you can get it from official retailers at a suggested retail price of Php31,990 while the Wildfire S goes for Php15,500.

'Twas an open bar from 7 to 10PM.  And the first glass of vodka sprite had me tipsy already even before the program ended.  Yikes!  I was informed last night that the effect is stronger if you had it in an empty stomach.  I'm slowly learning.  Aaaargh!!  I had to resist this:
