This kind of typhoon has never happened. No one will ever be prepared for this kind of disaster. It's given that there will be shortcomings (and abuse from different sources just to add) but we are grateful for the international aid given. There are a lot of inaccurate info from social media it's better to give a generous benefit of the doubt and be responsible in posting. And lastly whatever's being posted by an individual in his social media in times like this doesn't entirely define what kind of person they are. There.
As with the others, our company decided to spend our monthly teambuilding budget to help the victims of typhoon Yolanda (internationally named Haiyan). To make the activity more meaningful than just shelling out money, we did the grocery shopping (following closely the rules on what to donate) and personally delivered the goods to our trusted media network. :)
Aside from the fixed budget, my team also donated the prize we got from our performance in last month's party (watch the video here). :) Our manager was also generous to double up the cash donations collected from the employees, shoulder the van rental and pay for the dinner. :)

As we were waiting for the last car in the convoy, I couldn't help but admire this sight. The never-ending support of our fellow countrymen is very visible in this place. And this view simply inspires hope.
