Cosmetics 101

Out of boredom on a rainy Sunday afternoon, I decided to touch a little area of my bedroom just to filter some things. Believe me, it always gives me a frisson of delight whenever I throw some stuffs from my bedroom. Actually the word "bedroom" is politically incorrect anymore as I don't sleep there anymore what with the dresses strewn on the bed everyday. And seeing it's currently sordid state, I'd rather not call it a "dresser" as though I'm giving so much dignity in it. XD Let's just call it a haplessly casual mishmash of my stuffs! XD And on that day,my project was my make-up boxes.

Until now I don’t have any idea why I keep on blogging things right after I do make a clean up of my room. While I do agree that yes there were a lot of realizations about things and stuff but they’re utterly unbeneficial to mankind. Haha!! Take for example how I realized that:

(a) I’ve got enough eyeliners to use for my entire lifetime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell me how surprising was that!! Haha!!! Let me tell you a brief history on eyeliners. Mi mama is not much of a make-up person. She doesn’t need it thank you very much, I’m proud to say that. And while we’re at the subject let me just for the record say that she was being wooed during her teenage years to be a toothpaste star in TV! You know how it was back then, no thanks to orthodontics for fixing my teeth and definitely no casting for commercial star wannabes like these days. Talent managers before come explore to “discover” beauty. And a real beauty she was! I mean, until now! :P So yeah her basic cosmetics just involve a lipstick and an eyeliner and that’s just it! So when I was young and watching her use only those kinda grew up on me. As for the quantity, believe me I didn’t acquire it through retail therapy. The thing is, we once had this store where we sell these and when it closed, I realized I kind of kept all these pencils with me. :P And you girls know how eye pencils can be. A 3-inch length can already be good for half a year I believe so. So my current worry is how to dispose of these black pencils, which I use to wear before until a saleslady once explained to me, that blue black is the current “in” and that black can give you that very strong and fierce look. * sigh *

(b) I think the inspiration of liquid blusher came from VJ (yes you Venus Jameel, haha!) when I saw her using the thing on her face years ago. I observed how deftly they apply the thing on their cheeks and voila! They suddenly become pink-cheeked and glowing! I suddenly realized, hey I can be a blush-girl! But when I already have the exact thingy in my hand and tried it on, oh dear I looked like someone spanked me in the face! HAHAHA!! I can never be a blush-on girl, can I? You know what’s more effective?? Just observe me whenever my crush is near and spots of strawberry coulis will instantly pop into my cheek! LOL! But……………the thing is, I never stopped trying!! Translation: I NEVER LEARN! Every time I see a liquid blusher in all its pink glory in a very cute tube or any plastic holder, expect me to be enticed to buy! Geese, what a bummer! The lesson here?? Whenever you buy something, take out the price tag of the item! So that years after when you take out your great make-up kit and see that very item UNUSED, you’ll not WINCE on how much you wasted money for it! LOLs!! I couldn’t help ring up the total cost of these untouched liquid blushers of mine! What’s with all these beauty kit presentations anyway? :P

(c) YES KC YOU CAN JOLLY WELL REPLACE THAT RUBBER ON YOUR EYELASH CURLER. YOUR EYELASHES WILL BE GRATEFUL! Hahaha!! I realized I’ve been using this curler of mine for months now and haven’t thought of replacing the rubber until I saw a spare one in my make-up box recently. > _ <

(d) WHAT IS IT WITH LIPGLOSS???? I’ve been addicted to wearing these since I was in 3rd year college! Come to think of it, they give me a hard time everytime I would have to cover my face due to smoke or pollution I had to press my lips together so as not to spread the gloss over the hanky. Or worse, at times when the wind blows I have to do the same but then at times I will still see smudges at some part of my face?? Not chic! XD Compared to blushers, I have MORE lipgloss! There’s the one with glitters, the one for plump lips look, the one with collagen, the one for retaining the color of your lips, there are gifts from friends!!! Aaaaarrrggghhh!!! A trivia. I was just starting blogging when John gave me this Victoria’s Secret lipgloss “Sweet Talk” when he went back from a US business trip so I decided to name the blog after it. John is an ex-colleague from Intel. See?? Way way back!! And surprise!!! I still have the tube with me even with the name “Sweet Talk” name on it already erased due to frequent use before. It still has a little left in it and I found it last Sunday. What’s with sentimental values?????? Don’t lipgloss have expiration date too?????? Aaaargh!! Hehe.

(e) Same like liquid blushers, sad to say that I’m not an eye palette person too!! Yes seeing blending of different colors in magazines is really FAB but however instructions were printed at the back for the type of brush and even with color combination already provided, they’re never easy! =( And this is the reason why I’m so impressed with my besty Joy for being an expert on cosmetics! She can do it on a moving vehicle and sometimes she’ll just make-up herself even when she’s only cleaning her room! So “landi” isn’t it? Haha! Whenever we go shopping in SG, she will visit this cosmetics section that introduces the “mineral technology”. Wow, sounds FAB! But even with the DVD demo provided, I don’t think I can perfect it! :P I’m not really KIKAY as others call me. I’m NOT. :P

I think partly the reason why I can never be modern on cosmetics is just because like my hair, I’m quite hesitant to put so much in it or do so much about it. I’m afraid of break-outs or any irritations I’m sooooo done with them in my college years. :P But speaking of hair, ever since I had it trimmed I kind of loving having the volumes back! It made me realize, there was a time back then when I had to use “rollers” in order to put volumes into my hair. I just noticed that ever since the “straightening, relaxing, rebonding” technology was introduced, the volume trend didn’t come back anymore. I thought trends are supposed to come and go???

Anyway, I’m keeping the volumes for now although it’s kind of hard to achieve but atleast I’m making a special effort. In my whole 25 years on earth I never really use a hair-blower for my hair! Don’t be surprised here. YUP, IT’S TRUE! So now with the help of this very expensive Kerastase Oleo-Slim Leave-On the hair stylist recommended me (believe me, I nearly died myself when I heard of the price! Haha!), I’m trying to make it work with the hair-blower! I actually I hated it’s scent when I first tried it on coz it smells of a men’s musk! But lately, I’m quite being fond of it! I’m not sure if its because it gives me the idea that a man is just so near everytime I smell my hair (haha! gosh, I’m so men-barren! If there’s a term such as that, haha!!) but really I like it! :P And come to think of it, aren’t you growing tired of seeing straight hair??? I say, LET’s BRING THE VOLUMES BACK!!!! :D

It-Girl

Quite late as a lot of fashion blogs have already declared her their It-Girl! Her style is just slowly impinging on me lately. And yes, I love her! Though I'm not watching her series. :P I like her face too! :) Olivia Palermo for you.

Another thing I loved about her is the way she operates mostly on Black n White - which will always be my favorite combination. :) Don't you just like how she worked on that metallic leggings and silver oxfords?? Kind of prompted me to buy the same, thanks to Topshop's ongoing sale! LOLs!

So yeah, speaking of Black n Whites:

Seriously. have got to stop wearing that shoes as the others are becoming jealous already. Hehehe.

News Flash: The trip to Palawan was cancelled. Don't want to blog about it first coz I was mighty disappointed. But I really am sorry to this friend of mine whom I let down. :( He was kind of anticipating it. * sigh *

My Sister's Keeper (But what I Do Wanna Blog About Is.....)

Such a tearjerker!!! I was a blubbering mess after the movie!! Joy (special thanks to her btw for the Powerplant complimentary tix! Ü), who’s so not used to seeing me in such a state was sooooo concerned and had got me asking repeatedly if I was okay. Appreciate the concern sweetness!! But really, I may be laughing like crazy all the time but I doooooo cry too you know. :P And it’s not from some stemming issues but just watch the movie for you to understand. :P

But then again, there are scenes there that just simply make me wonder like, “What are the chances that you’ll find love inside a hospital?” I mean, two cancer patients? Wow! I know what you’re thinking right now. It’s something like this, “Oh no, not this topic again KC!!!!” (And more exclamation points, wahahaha!!!) But really, just asking. Okay, I’m not going to obsess about this again so let me just kwento some more.

I just remember this instance while Lisa & I were on the way to Clark, she was telling me this story of this friend of hers who ultimately found his LOVE through Facebook. I said, facebook! Well not that they are really complete strangers coz they’re like schoolmates from way way back. But it’s a long distance relationship since the girl is in U.S. but get this! By the time they’ll meet up again sometime end of this year (which is the first after them being in a relationship), they’re gonna go for it and take the plunge! I mean, like WOW!! Right?? I guess things like this REALLY DO happen huh??

So after some conclusion and wishing well for the couple in our conversation (you know those sentences that starts with “At least” like “At least he already found the one blah blah blah or something like “good for him”). Wistfully, we retreated back to silence but it was broken when I blurted out.

“Lamo satin lang di nangyayari yang mga ganyan eh!” (These things happen to other people except for us you know?”

And Lisa was like, “Alamo yun? Ok na eh! Sinisira mo pa eh!” Translation: Dude, do you really have to twist every knife?? You’re spoiling the mood!

Hahahaha!! Sorry, that was just me. :P :P :P

Anyways, no room for some melancholic spirits! I would like to make a toast to the couple that has just gotten back together!! WEEEEEEE!!! I knew it! :P Just like how I believe in that line “Everybody needs some little time away, far away from each other.” (Oooh, I feel like singing :P) for you to realize each other’s worth when they’re gone and that unforgettable SMS I got that I always use to forward to my friends. It’s something about how God made this world ROUND. So that, say if two lovers who were really meant to be walk away from each other, they’ll eventually meet up at some point of it in the end. Awwwwww…that quote is bloody brilliant! :P Wow, I feel like I’m Dr. Love or something. Hahahaha!!! What can I say?? Kasalan na to!!! Hahaha!!! :D

And here's a pic of us with a wrong movie background (LOLs!) and me being a sorry sight after the movie. Hehehe.

Btw, My Sister's Keeper is somewhat a family story you know. And did I blog about that huh? All I can say is, WOW! LOL!

In Their Shoes (Kwento Mode)

Our kwento for today is about the people whose shoes I wanna be in right now. :P

- Teacher Liz. Ű Well yeah congratulations to this girl for now being a “part-time instructor”. :) I’ve always wanted to become a teacher. Matter of fact, my plan after college is just to take up a master’s degree while doing part-time teaching to support my studies just like what my cousin did. But then after the board exams, I just had to see what the so-called “real world” out there has got to offer for me. And when Intel came in, yeah like Liz said during the orientation “Who could resist such a prestigious company?” Yeah I can still remember those words! That was our 1st day @ Intel & she grabbed the seat that was reserved for me by Joanne! Learning that she’s a La Sallite, I had an initial impression right then and there that she’s being a b*tch to me. But then who would’ve guessed that we’d jell in the end? Of course, I was wrong about her. :P

So before I wander far far beyond the point, let me just tell that I’m soooo jealous whenever she tells stories of her cute students!! WAHAHA!! Of course it’s not the reason why I want to be a teacher! Hahaha!! I like the thought of imparting knowledge, being a good example (O Lisa ha, bawal mgkacrush sa student! Hahaha!!), training your brain regularly through different mental exercises (math problems for example), and most of all being in the company of young persons. :) It makes you feel young too! Although, I have to say I always like being the youngest among my different sets of friends and even at work too! The last time she told me about this new job, she’s just started her first day. So this weekend in Palawan, I expect her to fill me in! Haha! :D Next,

teacher na mukhang student :P

- I refuse to name this batchmate of mine & I can’t believe that I’m really really putting him into my list of those I wanna be. Haha! But I have to hand it to him for not leaving his passion for music. I’m not entirely sure about this but I think he’s practicing his technical expertise in some company but he’s still very active in his choir, solo performing for some seminars during intermissions (At this juncture, girlfriend Liz might think that this is some guy with same talent for singing that I’m sort of crushing on, that guy whom I felt regret that I didn’t notice when I had a chance to do a duet with him for a general assembly before at work, but sorry you’re wrong. :P This topic is about people I wanna be, that guy is someone I want to be with! Wahaha!! Kidding. :P Anyway, in continuation) and most of all, he has this account in Imeem where he recorded his favorite songs and did his renditions. With all due respect to those who make their covers via Youtube, a lot of which I found disturbing, I found that this site is rather a modest way of broadcasting your talent. So part of the reason why I was hesitating to put his name here it’s because you know I praised him in one of my comments. I was impressed that despite being a technical guy, he’s not neglecting his talents. I’m always amazed and supportive of those people who are continuously evolving. (Wow, evolve. Para lang Pokemon! Haha! :D) So I’m not sure what I was expecting but it seems like I didn’t get any acknowledgement of my comment. It’s been a while now. So must I think that he’s being arrogant? A man so full of himself? Haha! But setting that aside, I wanna make something similar to what he did. I actually wanna know how he gets these multiplex mp3s and how he records songs. Does he own a recording studio? Haha! Every September, I would promise a gift to myself that I will do a recording in a CD of some songs but until now I’ve never really found the time to do that. Neither have the slightest idea on how to accomplish that. :P So to end this bullet, I really hope he’ll make real good use of his talent and yeah all the best to whatever he wants to pursue in his life. :P (Bitter?? Haha!) Moving on, when it comes to matters of the heart.....

- Once again, I’d rather let her unnamed. I can’t believe I’m having the energy to put her love story here. :P Believe me, this particular scene in this girlfriend of mine is so “soap-opera-ish”. After ending a 6-yr relationship with this guy, she moved on found a new one who’s apparently “heaps” better than the previous, everything went on smoothly for 4 months. Then one fine day, ex-boyfriend shows up in her house, the current bf finds the car of the guy parked outside and of course there will be this "scene" outside the girl's house. Ex boyfriend walks to current and says “Pare, okay na kami. Pabayaan mo na kami.” Girlfriend protests but was held by the ex-bf. Current one gives way but of course without uttering those final words with the gist of make sure you take care of her or something similar to that. Okay, let me breathe first.

My. Gawd! I never thought those scenes that I only see in TV happen in real life!! O diba, parang si JR, Dave and Audrey lang in Tayong Dalawa?? EKSENA-belles!! LOL!! But generally, I find those scenes irritating!! I mean, come on! This problem is just a piece of my favorite Dulce de Leche cake!! :P So why do I want to be in her shoes?

When solicited with my opinion as to what to do, my advice was very simple. Go and talk to the guy. There may be a whole other complexities involved in here but she found this suggestion of mine opposed as to what everybody’s been telling her - to just let it go and wait for the guy to approach her first. Okay, I understand where they’re coming from. It’s the idea that she’s the girl, she’s innocent and that she must wait for the guy to ask her back blah blah blah. But this is where I’m coming from - a girl who has clearly nothing wrong with herself (my opinion only ^^) but is counting years of singlehood! What do I mean?? If you found a LOVE as great as that, then you must simply FIGHT for it! Just simply don’t let it go! I can’t find a substitute for this Tagalog word, but I define LOVE as mailap for some. It doesn’t come and happen to everybody. You say LET LOVE FIND YOU?? I SAY LOVE ISN’T THAT CLEVER. LOVE ISN’T ACTUALLY ALL THAT CONCERNED ABOUT YOU. Turning bitter ba?? Hahaha!! Don’t worry I just got it from a book I read. :P I like the idea of fighting for a love that is sooo bloody worth-it! Oops, don’t look at me as though I’m an expert on this. Okay yeah I might have done it in the past, but I was wrong and it wasn’t worth it after all. What the heck?? This isn’t my love story. :P

Another point I’m coming from is that I always believe that in every misunderstanding, both parties have their fair share of mistake. That’s why I’m not that ma-pride when it comes to saying sorry. But then again, having been single for years now I’m not that really fit to give love advises right?? :P Well, this week is crucial coz she sort of followed my counsel and there were some hints to a positive result. So I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed. :P I wish a happy ending for the two and see my girlfriend happy. :)

- Feeling my energy draining after all these kwentos, lastly I’d like to be this girl Taghrid. This can mean being literally in her “amazing” collection of shoes, if she’s a size 40 that is. Haha!! Been frequenting her blog for sometime now, I really am surprised how she finds the time to do these amazing shots that feature her clothes, shoes, etc.

I barely know what she does for a living but I believe that yes, she’s employed. She’s already been featured on different press articles and magazines, even asked to model for some local brands just simply through her blog. I mean, magazines just lift off pictures from her site and she didn’t even have to pose for them because her pictures are already magazine-ready! At times I feel ashamed of myself and to all other fashion bloggers out there who could do so much justice to their shoes and dresses by finding nice backdrops, figuring the perfect poses, etc. :P I know owning a very good camera can be a good start but doing oculars on settings and directed poses? Good luck to that! So yeah she officially caps off my list of wanna-be for today. :)

So yeah, hopefully I can do justice to the red assymetrical dress I got on sale from Warehouse last Saturday. :) Wahaha!!

P.S. Watch Nobody by Wonder Girls in Youtube! I already managed Lisa to get hooked onto it! Hahaha!!!

Why Can't We???

Questions asked when we were in HK.

a. Implement here that “Keep Right” rule? I really really appreciate this rule whenever I am out in the streets. I first heard of this my first time in SG years ago, Joy asked me to give way to those who are in a hurry while we were in the escalators. Isn’t this just brilliant?? Patrick also explained this to us when we were in HK and I was delighted they also implement that! Obviously, I’m not so much of a person-on-the-go! :P

So okay fine, I walk fast! Perhaps due to years of being single and always doing things alone or at times when I’m hurrying up for appointments or meetings but regardless! The point is, this rule was clearly made to show respect for other people’s TIME!!! Obviously, some people HAVE VERY IMPORTANT BUSINESS to attend to. Why can’t we understand that? Oftentimes when I ask people to give way for me in escalators, they’ll give you this certain look as though you’re disturbing their oh-so-precious time of riding up and down the escalators. DUH?????? Hello, LOVERS??? Can you go somewhere else like in a park maybe??? Okay, not that this single girl is being so bitter about lovers cuddling or whatever but in all fairness when we were back from Macau we saw lovebirds keeping themselves on the walkalator’s right lane, girl and boy infront each other and talking dearly and without a single care in the world! Well at least they do their thing without blocking other’s way right??? Also sometimes when I do that I get these sarcastic remarks that I'm rushing for the comfort room due to some call of nature. Now isn’t that so irritating??? Some people can just be so MEAN.

I remember this one time I was trudging up the stairs of the overpass, there’s this girl who’s hurrying down and with some people infront she tried to find a way on the left which is supposed to be my “keep right” way going up. The expected scenario is that her momentum will be stopped because I was blocking her way. When she passed by me and I heard this “Tsk!” which is a Filipino expression for annoyance, I had to look around and shout “HELLO??? KEEP RIGHT!” for all the people to hear! I’m sorry, I tried biting my tongue. I usually am a patient person but it must be the scorching lunchtime that’s why her actions got into my nerves!! And besides, I was RIGHT. She didn't have to act that way!!!! XD

Okay, enough of that! This rule is just really special for me! I’m not even sure if implement is the correct term because this is just very basic. I think "instill" would be the proper word. Very elementary! And yet I don’t know why some of us can’t understand it!! XD

b. Next, when we were waiting for the E22 bus that will take us to Disney and the view of the high-rise apartment buildings of Kowloon infront of us, I overheard Jun asking why the government can’t provide those multi-dwelling units for the poor? Now we all know how these towers can be of advantage when it comes to accommodating more people within a smaller space and yes I believe we can implement it for those in the squatter’s area. But in my head I have an answer, we all know how those in the slum accepted the government’s provided houses, stayed there for a while, then very shrewdly let others rent the apartment for their own gain and the original occupants returning to a different slum area. Sad. :(

c. The MTR. Even with the Line 3 of LRT in place, I don’t think we can still compare to that of HK’s or SG’s trains. The very remarkable difference is that once you get inside any station, you’re already refreshed from the air-conditioning. Uhmm, here, all hopes of getting some fresh and cold air once inside the train can still be dampened when you learn that the air con is not working or it’s too crowded already. In all fairness also, I’ve taken jampacked MTRs for both countries but I didn’t feel any single degree of increase in the temperature as more and more people get on the train. And this BUZZ sound of the new train of LRT Line 1 is really really getting into my nerves too!! Have you tried it?? IT’S. TOO. LOUD!! I swear! It’s ergonomically unsafe! Did safety engineers even analyze that?? It’s so painful to my ears that it actually prompted me to get the hotline posted in one of the stickers inside the train for me to report and for once be a “concerned citizen”. Hehehe. But now haven’t really done it yet. Which reminds me to add it in my tasklist tomorrow. :P

d. Since we’re already in the subject of trains. I’m not sure if I’ve already made praises in this blog on SG’s and HK’s (Octopus) MTR cards! Imagine a card that can go negative!! Yeah okay fine, I know credit cards really go negative and are therefore amazing too but you can’t use it for transpo and some fast foods right?? Hehehe. Joy survived her first few months of staying in SG because of that card. I believe the card can even go unpaid which makes “the idea of going negative” really NOT APPLICABLE here due to subject to abuse but we can implement rules like in HK where they only allow of going negative once and up to a certain amount only. Blech!

e. Lastly, the most important of all……….why can’t we............................... have this purple currency bill like here below?? HAHAHA!!! It’s so………PURPLE! I love it! Hahaha!! Or maybe a plastic bill for that matter??? Haha!

Sorry. Can’t think of anything to substitute for the last bullet. Haha!! I was only in HK for 4 days and just have been into a small part of it, which totally makes this observation or queries SOOO irrelevant/immature for those who have seen the world or have lived through it or even has the answers why Phils can never be like HK. Like they say, a city can be a million different things to million different people. Atleast I DID manage to put some thoughts (haha!) and observe apart from the times when half of the day I was sleeping due to late night work which entirely ruined Lisa’s itinerary. Sorry naman gurl! Hahaha!! But it’s always nice being in a new city. And yes I enjoyed HK so much. (",)

One World Music

Stressed? That’s easy! Chill out with friends!

Cathy, bless her heart, has been initiative lately for some activities. I know it was just last Friday when we hanged out but what the heck! If every week’s more stressful than the previous one (think staying ‘til 9 PM in customer’s office on a Friday!) then the idea is very much welcome. For last Friday, she thought of doing some videoke in One World, GH.

This gurl knows me really well. Take for example this 7 PM phonecall,

Cathy: O, asan ka na?
KC: Ha? Andito pa ko sa Mandaluyong eh. D pa tapos work.
Cathy: Mag jam ka ba?
KC: Hindi nga eh. Pero ngdala ako ng…..(got interrupted with a PM from a workmate who's also working overtime in SG)…nng…..
Cathy: Ng ano, microphone?? (* Laughs *)

Haha! Or take for example our convo last last Friday before going to Jill’s where again she’s asking for my whereabouts,

Toink! Haha! But seriously, you’ll know when there’s lotsa load in my work. Some people can tell how very stressed others are by merely looking in the face. As for me? No need. Just look at what I’m wearing. Haha! I remember my friend Mike saying “dress down is not applicable for KC” - NOT TRUE!! :P And look just how I feel like singing, I think I’m belting out to JLo’s Let’s Get Loud here. :D

Aww, I will seriously miss that long hair! I just got my tresses trimmed this morning. More than two inches!! TWO INCHES!!! I wasn’t able to resist the stylist. :( And here’s a pic with the whole gang of FF GH with some trainers also. (",)

Purple Themed Disney Visit

Just a segue to the album,

Purple Dumbo Ride: (Yay, haha!)

Purple Tea Cup Ride:

Purple bench, wala lang! :D

And the colorful It's A Small World Castle, with lotsa shades of purple! :P

See?? I really don't love purple! I don't like Barney either! :P Seriously, you've got to believe me: my favorite color is BLUE! Haha!

And for those who advised us to catch the shows there, we didn't see a single piece of it! Why? I dunno! Maybe because it's a Monday?? I decided on that one thinking that it would lessen the number of visitors but was I wrong! I'm telling you, AH1N1 or global economic crisis had NOTHING in HK Disney!

Or is it probably because the "isip-bata" us (me & Lisa) were busy taking the rides. Yay! Haha! Specially that Tea Cup which had got me feeling lightheaded after (I know I know it's just a kiddie ride!) and then followed by that Space Shuttle something equaled migraine! I don't know why I always get sick in theme parks abroad! If you could remember the Everland episode in KR!

Well anyway, enough intro. Album posted here for those who are interested. :)

Pretty Wasted in Retro Marathon

Means we're still pretty albeit wasted last Monday after a 2-hour straight class of Retro! :P
hindi kami adik mgpicture sa gym noh? LOL!
As the name suggests, its non-stop dancing to the tunes of the 80s. But wait, there's more! FF already modified Retro to infuse modern dance and Latin! Yeeha!! So no problemo waiting for some hits to be included in Body Jam, I can already dance to Jaiho or Poker Face with the oldies every Monday. :D And the steps are exactly those in the music videos! Lahvet! But of course there was also a blast of MJ's hits from the past. * sigh*

For marathon classes, special awards are given to exceptional performers! Congratulations to Cathy and Doc! Ű For sure many mommies/grannies coveted the award for their all-out performances. Haha!! See? Some of them even prepared identical shirts for special events like this!

Here's to more friendly "titas" to know in the class. The woman next to me is Selena. Even with the proper introduction, she insists on calling me "bagets" as though I'm the only early twenties in that class! LOL! In return, I don't want to call her Tita Selena. I like her face, she's pretty! Funny the term "bagets", how very retro! Haha!

After the class, there's a mini salo-salo where the food served is so yummy that me coming back for the barbecue is enough to waste all efforts for the last 2-hours! XD

Jill's

Wooohoo to a lot of things:

1. Joy being very much available again. Yihee!! :) Cathy and I missed her. Here's the beauties @ Zong, The Fort Strip.

2) To meeting a new friend Melody. :) Sis of another dear friend of mine Tyts. :) She's a co-gym addict! :P

3) To grooving to the sounds of MJ's hits @ Jill's in The Fort. I'm not sure if it's really every Friday when they play oldies songs. But it was fun! We just felt like we're in Retro class in the gym. :P Haha! Ang cute ni Cathy here! :D

4) To Brian who's found himself loving the night life?? Wahaha!! I swear he's never with us before during JT's time, but now he's eager for the next gimmick! Was it the booze or something?? I really don't know! LOL!

5) Lastly to my YELLOW shoes I got in HK!! Yihee!! Haha!! Actually the shoe although the biggest size already felt a bit tight when I first wore it. But this shop in Mong Kok, oh wow it's amazing! They have this thingy that can widen the shoe and after a few mins when I tried it, I was ready to pay! Hahaha!! They actually have this offer of 2 shoes for 250 HKD and Elishah and I both agreed to get each pair. :D I'm loving it! :D

XD

This post shall document the life of KC after being away for 2 and a half days at work.

I, KC Pelayo, haven't

- unearthed my suitcase yet.

- claimed my credit card that was captured last Friday. - done any home work-outs or gone to the gym since yesterday. XD

- in all fairness to bullet above, I haven't had any decent/proper meals since yesterday. Morning @ HKIA, I had a cup of hot choco, a bag of M n M's while in transit from Clark to Manila and some pica pica in the hotel's lounge in the evening while working with my counterpart. Everything fatty! XD Even today, noodles @ 4 PM anyone???

Whoa! For the last years that I've been working, I never took any leave for more than a day and I didn't know it was that awful upon returning. XD

I know I still owe some pics from last trip but I haven't had any ensemble update for the last days either. :D Hmm, although I know the shoes doesn't really match the dress coz first of all it really is more of a "gimmick" shoes but I had to do some tests if I can carry the heels tonight. Well, I must say the shoe comfortability passed this afternoon but I'm talking about wall-to-wall carpeted floorings like hotels here! Haha!! Not sure about bars with jampacked individuals or grooving in the floor with that shoes on for that matter. :P Yes, I haven't had any gimmicks for a while now and it's a must happen tonight! :D

As mentioned, looking forward to some "unwinding" tonight with my girlies. :D It's much needed!
