But before I give you that, allow me to share pics when our long lost relatives from Bataan paid a visit in our house last Sunday. Thanks to the long vacation!! :)


Well, it seems that not only us got a visit but Choi Choi too!! My cousin Kuya Rey brought along their new baby, a 5-month Shih Tzu Akiko. Cute!! Haha!!

That's when we found out that our loveable pet is "torpe" when it comes to girls. Hahaha!! :D And that Akiko is actually the "aggressive" type came out as a surprise. Wahaha!! :))

Anyways, formal wear on a Sunday:

I wore it with specs coz wala lang, I just feel ugly. :P I've lots of break-outs!! And we're not talking about minor zits here, more like angry redness of pimples everywhere!! X-D I cry to every sad songs I here in the radio and I also have LOOOOOOTS of bruises. So dear girl thing, or whatever it is that my body keeps on delaying, please come now. I don't care if you give me whole day pain whatever, just come please!! And don't ruin my weekend swimming and more especially my CRUISE!! Thanks in advance!

SNS' TMIs/ Best Wishes to Mr & Mrs Camaclang

SNS. It doesn’t take a genius what Social Networking Sites means. I’ll just cite examples: Friendster, Facebook, Multiply, etc..

TMI. Too Much Information. Period.

I’ve seen a lot of celebrity blogs citing in their websites that they don’t own these kind of accounts but only their personal journals. Well, I’m not a celebrity but I do have those three accounts aside from my Blogspot. So what’s my point?? Nothing. Hahaha!! Oh boy, just from this intro you’ll see that this post is up to nothing, hehehe.

Well, no doubt that the biggest advantage of these is getting updates from long lost friends. Brill, isn’t it?? Admittedly, I hardly click on to these (talking about my Friendster) because my goodness I have more than 500 persons in my list!! So it’s also a blessing that they came up with these so-called “updates”. And most of the time, I come across acquaintances (college classmates, org-mates, previous officemates) with changed profile pictures depicting two people: the girl dressed in white and the guy in a formal wear.

The natural tendency is of course to click on the profile which will confirm your initial hypothesis (Coz of course what else will the picture mean?? Duh??) and for me to have that initial cute reaction upon seeing their smiling faces: “Awwww, finally!! They’re my favorite college couple. At long last they got married!” At times, I will click on the Add Comment and send them my best wishes.

But shortly after that, reality steps in. A different reaction will ensue and this time not the KC being cute like “Aww, I’m so happy for them blah blah blah” but rather the stone-cold reality that “My god, I’m so L.B.!!! Blast this broadband world!!!” (With L standing for the opposite of right and B standing for the opposite of infront!) Hahaha!! The same reaction can be said when after checking the profile of this guy who after admitting that he likes you, will tell you that he has to get back to his ex-girlfriend for unknown reasons (now isn’t that the perfect case of “Bomalabs”?) and learning that in one of his profile pics hugging a dog, your name’s in it: Me and KC. WOW!! Round of applause!! Haha!! Classic!! In all fairness, the puppy is cute - a Shih Tzu (which reminds me of my departed Barbie) and I’ll slightly forgive him for that!! Haha!!

After four paragraphs, I realized that the abovementioned examples are not the TMIs I’m talking about. But rather these, haha!!

I’m not a fan of Facebook (sorry for those who are)!! Specially their too many applications! I mean, if someone likes me or sent me a kiss, then why do I have to add that same application before I see that someone?? I just simply don’t get it. Sorry!! I don’t even know how the requests boomed to that number, it’s crazy!! It’s like I get bombarded with different requests each day!!

Next, Friendster. It used to be doing fine until they followed Facebook with their applications. I don’t like that they have to always put these “New” somethings in my profile. These are not needed info (Horoscopes, Bulletins, Applications, Duh???). And pwede ba if someone puts a comment in one of my photos, can you please indicate in the email in what picture?? I have more than 10 albums in my account and about a hundred plus photos all in all!!! Stupid!! Phhhbbbtt!!! X-D

Lastly, Multiply!! In this site, you get updates by clicking Inbox and my only complaint here is what they call flooding unnecessary information specially those who use it for business purposes. I mean, do they really have to post for everybody to see that someone’s payment has been received or that the shipment to one of their contacts has been done?!?! Mind you, it’s being broadcast!! Well I know I don’t really have to whine coz the simplest solution is to remove the said biz contact which I will do when I have the time. I think the simple lesson here is be considerate on broadcasting especially when all your activities are being displayed in other people’s Inbox! :P

I’d like to have a happy ending!! This is not a case of TMI since real friends find a way of updating you on special occasions of their lives!! IT'S MARK AND XIELA’S WEDDING!!! WOOHOO!!!

Last September when Mark came here for a short visit from SG, I was the only one from our group (Shiela’s college friends) who made it in their house @ Cavite because I had this hunch that there’s going to be some pop-up question/ marriage proposal that’s gonna happen whilst dinner and I certainly didn’t wanna miss the event. To my disappointment, nothing happened. Haha!! And since the place is quite far from where I live, the couple advised me to stay for the night. I ended up being the third wheel with me sleeping in Mark’s bed while the two of them in a makeshift bed on the floor. Yay!! Haha!! I wasn’t able to blog about this coz until now, UNTIL NOW, I’m waiting for the pictures from Markus. That night was actually a photosession night, since two photography addicts Mark and Markus displayed their sumptuous cameras and took pictures. Anyway, back to the wedding. I don't know how all of a sudden they got engaged with Xiela texting me last week about this private event. :P P.S. Xiela's not knocked up. :P Hehe. A church wedding is planned after two years. :)

Maxi Girls

Again, unplanned. It's Me and Besty last Sunday. :)

I love the floral print of my dress!! Duh, like what else?? Haha!! But I'm kinda 50-50 on the bottom part since it's a bit short for my height and uhmm the bottom part that looks like a table cover..hehehe!! But I love the flowiness of it and yes I love it!! Hehe. I intend to wear it in the cruise! ;-)

I only took Tuesday off from their house in Laguna, my second home. Last Sunday, a gathering was held in Ate Sally's house (mom of Butchik) with lotsa foods, there's turkey and my favorite quesadillas!! The ladies absobloodylutely had fun, fun, fun in the videoke as can be seen in the video below, haha!! A few notes though: (1) I wasn't drunk in this video. (2) I only did this for fun and there's no way will be doing with men around, haha!! Gosh, a lot of people subscribed to my videos because of my Princess Hours created movies and I don't know how they're gonna react when they see this!! Haha!!

Once Upon A Mega

Mall, that is and not a star. Haha!! I WON!! I WON!! Kite kite (that's how I'd like to call Cathy here from now on, hehe Ü) and I hopped on to FF in Megamall to catch our favorite Body Jam instructor RA in one of his classes. He was doing a 2-hour marathon in that branch and the Greenhills girls felt like stepping in. Haha!! :D

During marathon, small prizes are given to best performers and I was bestowed with such an honor. Hahaha!!! This is us with RA and me holding my award. Haha!! The prize is something like a USB port extender that's like a mini-traffic light. Nice!! Hehe. Ü

Since it's a new branch, I was pretty much impressed with their facilities. The lockers are was it magnet-locked?? haha, I'm not sure how to call it and the equipments are high-tech since they have automatic counters. :P

Girlfriend and I did alsome some quick roaming around after the dance class. And this is what we found, haha!!

Sigh, after the dance it was time to face reality that I spent again for a Mango sale. Hahaha!! Glorious!!

Of course, you'll all see the splurge in the future. And I've got an upcoming funny post. Just waiting for the videos. Happy holidays!! :)

Back from Oz/SG

Tytana it is!! Hahaha!! It's been almost a year!! I definitely missed this girl!! And what better way for us to bond together than to do one of our favorites: GOING TO THE GYM!!! Hahaha!! Like I told you before she's one gym enthusiast. Very religious in her morning sked before she left. And I became a member when she's already in Sydney so we didn't share precious time in the gym so much. Hahaha!!

Last Thursday, we didn't see ourselves in our work-out area because we were busy in each other's respective fortes. Wahaha!! She's the monster when it comes to RPM and Cycling and because there should be a corresponding title for myself, I'd like to think that I'm the animal when it comes to Dancing. Wahaha!!! Fair enough!! :P

After that, we headed to Krispy Kreme (where there is free wi-fi, hahaha!!) and proceeded to do our things. So ladies and gents, here are the Jobhunter and the Freelancer. :P I'm so fat now. :(

She was busy looking for a job in Melbourne and of course me with my work. Hehe. But she found this one dream job and promised me that if she scored this, she'll treat me to a back and forth trip to Oz!! That's how she usually is especially when making bets, nothing's changed. So I'm asking - no make that summoning, haha!! - all the forces in the world for her to land that job. Please, please!! Haha!!

Of course there were so many stories to share but time is limited so she just shared to me the story about what else but another one of our faves, BOYS!!! Hahaha!! Although I was pretty much updated coz we regularly talk in the chat, it was just sad hearing how things turned out with her "first love". I'm still not ditching my theory that it's just a matter of who comes first!! I mean if one of my single ladies finally, finally found the one then the rest will follow. Or I'm thinking I should be the one first since I'm the one connecting all of them - Cathy, Lisa, Joy P., Joy R., Tytana. Hmmmm, talk about pressure!! Hahaha!!

For now we'll enjoy first. And we're sooo welcoming next year with that big "S" in our status. Hehe. :P

Back from SG

Joy it is. :P And this was last Sunday. Our bonding consisted of doing our religious thing. We're also experts at multi-tasking since while listening to the preach we we're also fending for our babies. Hehehe!! Look at how they've grown up so fast!! They're not babies anymore - Butchik and Bur Bur. *sigh*

She's still the expert when it comes to determining the children's needs and understanding their behavior. She'll be a really good Mom. :) We didn't have so much time together since she was busy talking with friends and acquaintances as well. So pretty much of the whole Sunday, I was left with the two. Haha!! And one of the things I found to entertain them with - my phone. Hahaha!!

Yaya - you're such a LOOOOOOOOSER!!! Hahaha. Sigh, whatever's being taught to kids nowadays?!?! Haha!!

Sigh, so limited time with these two girls. Hope to make the most of their stay here. :)

Uh-oh. Somebody has got a tough competitor when it comes to formal dresses. Mango, beware!! Haha!! Atleast for my taste only. :P Warehouse recently opened a branch in Galleria and I just can't help but be amazed and elated at the wonderful dresses there. I observed that most of their dresses are targeted for corporate functions and I'm just so glad that unlike Mango they're not focused on black!!

For weeks I've been hankering for the dresses and last Friday, an occasion called for some new formal attire. Took all five of the styles I've been longing to wear and went straight to the fitting room.

What the @!*&?? None of them would fit me!! I know my body well and I didn't just pick the dress' sizes by my standard size in their sister company Topshop. But I guess I miscalculated it this time. All of them are too tight on the bottom. It's frustrating coz one nice feature of their dresses is that they're cut to emphasize the curves. So when I tried changing sizes to bigger ones (a 10 or 12), the lovelies wouldn't flatter my shape anymore.

Sad, sad. =( I may have gotten fat (what with this new home-based job) but I know something's wrong with their sizes when I tried fitting some styles in another one of their sister shops, Dorothy Perkins. :P An 8 or 10 or 12 just wouldn't do. Na ah!! Take for example the dress below, it fits well in the bottom but it's kinda loose on the shoulder part. :P

So why did I buy it?? Because I'm an addict!! Hahaha!!! :D

Well unlike Mango, I could've sworn that I see a curve (a bend an arch or whatever you would like to call it, hahaha!!) each time I fit even their simplest black dress. :P So I think I'll still stick to my first love. Haha!! It's such a shame they don't have inspiring dresses lately. :P But for these 3 sister shops, don't worry I'll keep on trying. Hahaha!!

I know you're going to hate this Rai-yan but it looks like another style ending is coming. Hehe. Nothing special but I just would like to declare this coat as my best buy of the year. Hahaha!! 50 off the price and with so many styles to play with, brill!! Come to think of it, I was once almost on the verge of getting sick of it but I was wrong. Especially with new accessories to pair up her way. Hehehe.

Well, you've met that bag before in my Sing 3 album right?? Hehe. I love that most of my girlfriends are eagerly eye-ing it!! :P Well, me too once until I saw it discounted in the shop. Haha!! But if it's not too much, I'd like to talk about the shoes. Haha!! Another yellow!! Aargh!! But it's ok lah!! I got it again discounted in PrP for I don't know how much but it's definitely cheap. And I like that hole in its wedged heels.

So much for fashion faux pas. :P

Sing 3

Day 0: Date with Linc. I’m really grateful I obeyed Cathy’s suggestion for us to meet at Changi coz something horrible happened. :-{

Day 1: Official day. Met a new colleague/international friend Ade (from Indonesia). Training as usual. Then introduced to the whole staff of the company later on. Dinner: My first taste of Thai cuisine @ Thai Accent in Vivo City. Then became a tour guide at night since it’s Ade’s 1st time in SG.

Day 2: Swimming. :) Training. Dinner @ No Signboard Seafood again in Vivo City. I missed eating the famous Chili Crab. Yum!! ‘Twas my first taste of frog (aaack!!) and also the White Pepper Crab. Night: Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. Ade and I just chilled in the hotel then talked about what else but of course, relationships. Sheeessshh!!!

Day 3: Swimming. Hehe. Usual training and I must say it gets harder each day! Haha!! :D After which I slept @ Joy’s house in Sembawang. Missed her!! I also met Juliet's cute cute daughter Kalay and bonded with her. Haha!! :D

Day 4: Hands-on training. Yay!! Night: Ade and I wandered around Clarke Quay. Tour guide again, :P

Day 5: Last day. :( I wasn’t able to extend my flight. Joy even made plans for the weekend. But all SQ flights were already fully booked ‘til the holidays!! Lunchtime: we went to one of our clients M1 for their Charity Event. :) Then left the office around 3:30 PM to catch my flight back home.

Retrosode

How much do I love dancing now as compared to singing?? Actually I'm quite confused. I admit that our videoke's been very much maintained due to my thrice a week usage, hahaha!!! Now dancing in the gym before used to be only twice a week due to Body Jam, not until Cathy introduced me into this energetic class of Retro about two months ago. :P

I observed that it's the most-filled session for all the group exercises at night in the gym. Next is Body Jam I think. And the people who usually attend here are uhmm well, the oldies. :P I told myself that I will never ever join them even if they really look happy dancing to these songs like "Listen to Your Heart" (remember the tune??) and EWF's Let's Groove or Le Freak. How very 1980's. Haha!! But then Cathy "literally" dragged me one time and from there I understood why she's been pushing me to join the class for the longest time now.

Actually it's more of a challenge to myself. I mean, look at these mumsies and the way they dance to the upbeat music!! They're way way better than me. And we're not only talking about fugly mumsies here, they're all sexy mommas - donned in midriff tops and skintight pants!! Whew!! HOT!! Shame on me if in my age, I can't measure up to their "body" or "skills" in dancing specially the rhumba or any Latin dance at some point in my gym life. Haha!! So every Monday night is a challenge for KC. Hehe. It made me love dancing even more. :P

And tell me why wouldn't I love Retro?? Lately, they've just incorporated "Low" in one of the songs for exercises. Hahaha!! As in the apple bottom jeans thingy!! And I was expecting they will include it in Body Jam!! Wrong!! I was so happy I always look forward to it during class. The steps didn't fail my expectation either!! Imagine these hot mommas gyrating their waists when they get low, low, low, low, low, low, low. :P ZEXY!! Sorry, no room for osteoporosis here. :P I wish I can drag my own momma and tita into this class someday. Hehehe. Someday I will. :P

These donias of FF GH prepared something after class last Monday. And it was a feast of food!!

Too bad Cathy wasn't around. :( But the rest of the guys and folks that have become my friends in the gym were there. :)

Brand New Tita

Hmm I've been a Tita to a lot of cute children thru cousins before that I already lost count how many are they. :P The latest one is to 2-month old Danica Francesca here: (",)

Err, did someone just inflate this baby's mouth?? Hahaha!!! Look at her, she's a Chabelita. :P Bouncing like a ball. Hahaha!!! Soooooo cute. :D


But what I'd like to share more here is this baby: Aedan Miguel. :)

Things are a bit complicated between the mother and my older brother so the whole family haven't seen the baby for now. Sad. =,( Every so often, my mother would borrow my Tita's phone so as to have a glimpse of the baby in the desktop. :C She doesn't have a phone that's why. Hehe. Ssshh!!

Sigh. I'm longing to hold this baby, my very own nephew!!! I must find a way, by hook or by crook!! :P God help me!!

Now for more kwentos (stories):

Finally, I got to meet the two of them face to face. I welcomed the guy and asked him about his work (an ex-officemate in Intel) and even requested for a group photo of us. Over-all, my performance was a solid B I think.

Abed, Irene and Me

I don’t know why I had to review what happened. It’s just that I was entangled into this rumor in the church that I reportedly have a crush on the guy. The drama is something like that in the song Samson “I loved you first, I loved you first” since I first met the guy at work. Now the “issue” circulated for about half a year or more and I was so busy that I did nothing about it. I mean, I know the truth and I’m bound to believe that she knows I’m not that type. I thought that it would be better to just simply ignore it although I already knew what will happen: the girl and I will fall apart. Sundays have become civil days for both of us and we as much as possible avoided each other. :(

Believe me, I would’ve done the first move had I had the strength but it would mean being defensive on my part right?? So one Sunday about four months ago when the sermon was about making peace with brothers found in the words of Matt 5:23, 24, she approached me after and we talked about the whole incident. Whew, that was a relief!! As educated Christians, we both decided to let go of this incident and since we’re both victims of gossip here we promised that the next time the guy visits we’ll act as if nothing happened to put the issue to an end.

So that was us yesterday. I believe that they will soon be Mr. and Mrs. Castaneda next year and I could only wish nothing but the best for both of them. :)

Sigh. One of the very many issues that single girls encounter. Hehe. So here’s to happy Sundays and loving more Mango LBDs. Hehehe.

Honeymoon Period

A quick hello from my current S.O here in SG. Hehehe.

See?? Nothing's new with the wardrobe. But my bag is new. Hahaha!!! Lovesit!!! I love that my new laptop fits in it. :D
