Singapore Part 3 / Twilight (I Crush Him, Haha!!)

Looks like she's goin to be my second home for now. Not only because it's where my besty Joy lives but also because of the new company's office. Matter of fact, there's already a scheduled date for return next month. Must get the "miles" ready. =P

So what's in my suitcase?? Hmm, nothing new. I was tempted to do a quick shopping but then decided against it when I learned that my last pay's been put on hold!! ON HOLD, my gawd!! But that's good since I intend to "pack light" this time. Wow, that's new! Haha!! Good luck with that!! But one thing's for sure, there will be a lot of yellows in it. Hehehe!!

And I just remembered, it's my third time already and I haven't posted my SG/MY travelogue/pics from last March yet. What a shame!! Actually, to tell you the truth, the pics were already available months ago but it's the travelogue that's not yet drafted yet. = ( It's in HERE!! :) The Melacca will be available right after my trip alright?? :P

I will try my very best to keep this blog updated even if I'm away since there are still a couple of events last week that are unposted yet. Take for example the movie last Friday.

I CRUSH HIM!! I CRUSH HIM!! HAHAHA!!! :D

Rob Pattinson of Twilight

He's impossibly GORGEOUS!! Hahaha!! Why do they always have to be so enchanting???

Tell you what, the only series of books I've read is the Shopaholic. :P Harry Potter, LOTR or Twilight I never considered reading. But I might give this one a try. I was actually about to hop into a bookshop yesterday to buy just the first book and read it while on board but then remembered that I've a whole 185-pages of printed materials to read for my new work. Phhhbbbttt!!! Hehehe. Sigh, some other time I guess.

As always, I watched the movie with the fast-becoming Friday club - my Fitness friends.

dinner at CPK

Cathy gave Joy and I identical shining shimmering splendid bracelets, hehehe. Thanks gurlfriend!! ;)

Then midnight snacks "daw" at Chili's.

Geoff, Cat, Linc, JT, de Moi and Joy

Linc is Cat's friend. I just met him that day but he's kind enough to accompany me to my hotel later. Good thing we're on the same time of flight. He's working in SG.

I'll miss these guys but I TERRIBLY miss my best friend too!! Joyeeeeeee gurlaloooo, I'm coming. :D

Friday Gimmick: Bureau

Way to celebrate my last day in the office - a night out with gym friends. Hehehe. We had some Japanese delicacies at Oki oki in A. Venue first for dinner. We learned that there's an event in the club til 11 PM and while waiting for Geoff, we checked around the venue for some place to stay at.

Since we expect some heavy dancing after the event, we opted for a place where we can just chill while waiting. JT's PR skills as always landed us the whole 3rd floor of Gastoff for ourselves. VIPs eh?? Haha!!

These are the folks:

Joy - Mukha lang hindi umiinom. She doesn't look the part of a heavy drinker.

Cathy - Hindi naman kaya pero inom ng inom. Cathy usually calls the toasts, tries all the drinks then her whole body turns red after, gets dizzy and takes some time before she recovers.

KC - Mukhang lang umiinom pero patikim tikim lang. Hehehe. :D My style is to let them order the drinks, join the toast then just sip a few. Haha!! I just let the others finish off what's left of my shotglass. Drinking is really not my thing. :P

And for that JT actually has officially given me the moniker KJ (killjoy) and not KC. :P

You know what you do when you occupy the whole floor of a certain bar right?? You just simply play around. Haha!! We figured we'll make good use of the curtain as a backdrop and posed ala Charlie's Angels. Hehehe.

And yes, we made fun of the camera, the paintings and the lemon too!! Sshhheesshh!! What a bunch of LOSERS!! Hahaha!! :))

At long last, Geoff has arrived around 10:30 PM!! Just in time before Cathy turns from charmingly buzzed to loudly drunk. Hehe.

JT was able to talk to the bouncer and got us all straight to the club (avoiding the queue) with escort from the said bouncer upstairs. Impressive!! Haha!! I don't think the drinking did any good prior to the party since I felt sleepy after. Meanwhile, the effect is the other way around to Cathy as she danced like there's no tomorrow. Haha! :D

A blogspot reader named Jamaica (nice name btw and yes I make it a point to "special mention" commenters here to encourage readers, haha!!) asked me about some nice places in Makati to hang out. Well you can try it here, the place is nice especially the ladies' room. Feeling expert, yay!! Haha!! But honestly that time I got bored because of the crowd. It's one of my defining factors. Or maybe it's because of the event coz most of the people are still college students.

After, we headed to Coffee Bean to sober up. We had a feast of cakes: Blueberry cheesecake, Toblerone cake (soooo good you must try!!) and Sans Rival.

Btw, did you notice that all the girls came in shorts?? Who's idea was it?? Hahaha!! I just told them to match my newly bought black jumpsuit. Hehe. :P Well atleast theirs offer no discomfort whenever they need to go to the ladies' room. Coz I wasn't able to estimate the hassle of removing all the buttons first when I need to pee when I bought it. Tsk!! Here it is:

Twilight tonight?? ;-)

Famewhoring 101

(title as suggested by Rai-yan.. :P)

Okay. First off, I think I need to say a few words on my behavior on the following clip which I’m about to show you.

(1) I was blown away!! It was my first time to hear Arnel Pineda live and I was soooooo impressed. No wonder he made it BIG in Europe!! I’m a convert. Hehehe.
(2) Pain In My Heart is one of my old time favorites – especially during the you know, break-up stage. I heart that song. On the other hand, please don’t ask me why I like Please Don’t Ask Me. Ok?? ;-)

So I’d like to show this vid to share Arnel Pineda’s talent. Filipinos are simply the best when it comes to singing. ;-)

Now what will I ever do without Youtube?? Man, they sure are fast!! Like Monday morning, the vid is already available with almost a thousand views. Yikes!!!

Note: You are about to see an unsightly creature on the 1:13, 4:23 and 4:33 mark. It’s awful!! Haha!! Now I’m ready to cringe. Yay!!

Last tip: Befriend the cameraman. Haha!! Well, he was kind to begin with. And he was a bit sad we had to leave early. :P

I don't have too much time to post the album for now. But I'm eager to share this pic with Papa Pi. Hihi. *blushes*

i told u i just came from a facial right?? hehe :P

I tried to imitate JT's PR skills (or was it rubbing off on me?? hehe) and talked to these two old ladies seated beside Cathy. I learned that they've been watching ASAP live for six years. They always get these seats infront and the celebrities already know them. Wow, talk about some SOLID fans there, huh?? I asked for Tita's number and hopefully I can score some seats next time. Hehe. :P

Sigh. My flight is sometime in the afternoon this Sunday. I might not be able to catch the show. :(

I Love This Show: the ASAP '08 Audience :P

Who else saw me on TV yesterday?? Who else?? Hahaha!!! :D It was a late Saturday night I was lying in bed ready for a facial treatment when I received a text from Cathy asking me if I want to watch ASAP with her. JT (thanks to his celebrity connections Ü) was able to get access to the said show. Well, it was kind of late notice but then I’m disappointed that she did not only consider that I would turn down the invitation, she even verbalized it!! :P My gosh, am I going to pass up on that?? Even with the risk of having a reddish face the next day, I replied to her: Cathy, I’m there!! I’m SOOOOOO there!! Ü Ü Ü

Having been an audience before, of course I already know what to do next to get that 1-second worth of TV exposure. Haha!! Before when I was an audience of MTB (Magandang Tanghali Bayan – the noontime show before Wowowee), I accidentally learned that by exaggerating a certain reaction you will get that camera exposure. It’s not really that I did it on purpose but the act was gross in its own – like a toothless granny eating the marshmallow necklace hung on an artist. Yikes!! The next day, the moment I entered the school, I met a classmate of mine already greeting me about what he saw in TV. :D

Now upon observation, I also realized that you can get that coveted spotlight if you have a pretty friend beside you. :) And that’s Cathy for you!! Ohmigosh, I’m such a famewhore!! Hahaha!! But the problem is, JT’s “PR skills” only afforded two persons to be seated infront and he and I were on the 4th row right side of the stage to give way to Cat and Rose. Darn!! (Btw, my hats off really goes to that man!! If not for him, we would’ve been seated at the last row. He’s really the best “negotiator”. You’ll learn more when I blog about our gimmick last Friday in Bureau. :P ) Good thing somebody needed a reminder. I was seated next to a woman probably in her mid-forties and next to her is a granny (her mom). During the rehearsal where celebrities were just out and about the stage,

Woman (in her Batangueno accent): Ala eh hindi ko alam kung san ako titingin eh!! (I’m confused as to where I’m going to look at.)

Granny: Oo nga eh. Lahat sila magaganda eh. (Yeah, all of them are pretty.)

KC turns to them and smiles.

Granny to KC: Ikaw din maganda ka eh. (You too are pretty.)

KC: *blushes*

Whaaaat??? Oh come on, you’ve got to give it to the granny!! She’s wearing an eyeglasses for crying out loud!!! Hahaha!!! :D

Well that was a little confidence booster!! :P Our timing was kind of fortunate. There will be a boxing match that will occupy an hour and a half of the show’s slot before the “live” run and they have to tape performances for the next week since it will be a holiday. Spoiler ahead: Billy Crawford will open next week’s show. After his performance,

JT (in his usual American accent): Oh no we’re featured on TV.
KC: Really?
JT: Yeah. Did you see the red light when the cameraman passed here?? It’s on when the light is red.
KC to herself: Oh yes!! Hahaha!!! :D

After some time when we we’re already viewing the live part, there’s another trick I learned. Just be yourself. In that musical where Gary V and Arnel Pineda (Bravo, Bravo!!) were doing a duet, I just allowed my love for music fill up my whole being. I just heartily sang along my favorite songs and voila!! A star is born!! Ahahaha!!! I instantly received a text from a friend confirming if I was the one he saw. Hahaha!!! Mission accomplished. Wahaha!!! Joke!! :P But then it occurred to me,

KC: You said we were already featured before the live portion right?
JT: Uh, yeah. Why?
KC: Oh no. I'm gonna be seen again in the same outfit. :P

Hahaha!!! :D I hope somebody uploads a video of their song in Youtube. I just wanna get a glimpse of how I looked like. They said you’re fatter when you’re on TV right?? Tsk!! Haha!! But then if not, JT already asked his brother in the US to record the show and he’ll send it over probably next year. :P

So, do I even have to say why I loooooooooove this show?? One word: TALENT!! This is the REAL home of the Filipino talents. The rival station??? CHEAP. :P:P:P Like duh??? :P

Another thing I noticed is that the celebs here are real entertainers. I mean, not only will you get amused at them in their live performances but even during commercial breaks the goofy guys will still keep you laughing. Vhong, Billy, Luis and the rest – they’re soooo FUNNY!! In fairness, the show runs for about 3 hours and no foods are allowed inside PLUS the fact that you have to be there an hour and a half earlier. Well, they gotta make sure we’re entertained. I have a thing for funny men!! :P

But they don’t need any effort though; just the sight of the hotness that Papa Piolo and John Lloyd are is already enough. Geese, who’d squealed?? I think that I just lost all my attempts at coolness and that JT nearly damaged his eardrums with my screaming. Hahaha!!! Forget Sam coz I already have a pic with him, but the tanned-ness of the hotness of the yummy-ness of Piolo Pascual!!! OMG!! That's just too much!! The three of us had a picture with him but it’s in Cathy’s cam. Aaargh!!! Just wait for the album in my Multiply. Meanwhile, this is just what I captured. Yup, I was on the edge. Near on that mini platform where they use to do the hosting. :P
Sam, Erik, Christian and the one and only Papa P. Hihi

I forgot to mention that another reason why I watch this show is to look out for the latest styles. :P The dresses, the styles, the platforms, the stilettos and aaarrrrgh!!! Those boots, boots, I want!!! Iya, Bea, Tony and Maja's shoes-es..hehehe

I also observed some celebrities getting tired also during the break what with their hectic skeds and all and yet be amazed with how they deal with the audience. But then again there are some who clearly showed a hint of “bitchiness” in them and I’m so glad that I don’t really like her in the first place. :P It’s just sad Sarah G. wasn’t there as well as Kim and Gerald. I like them. Ü

There were still four more musical to tape when the live show finished but we’ve been exposed enough (especially Cathy!!!), it’s bad for the health. Hahaha!!! Actually, at 4 PM we’re ravenously hungry. There’s relatively no signal for most of the networks inside the studio (except for one, hehe) and when we we’re out, there came a flurry of texts on our phones regarding the “quick feature”. And this just proves that ASAP is really the undisputed number ONE variety show during Sunday. :P Yeba!! :D

Cat and Me

with Maja, Bea and Toni

Me, Rose, JT and Cathy (with my Toffee Nut Latte, haha)

So note: We’re still gonna be aired on Sunday. Haha!! I hope my flight isn’t on that day yet. Tsk! I love this show!! I LOVE ASAP!! Ü Ü Ü

Jane of the Jungle

Happy Thursday!!! ÜÜÜ Someone’s being a sunshine this morning. :):):) Oh give me a break guys I was down last weekend. So by the looks of this introduction, you’ll be able to deduce that KC’s up to nothing for today. Hehehe. As usual, I’ve nothing to say but have got something to show. :P

Like I said it’s my last workweek and given the new work conditions, I’ve been dressing to kill lately. Kill because someone needs a license to wear the leopard shoes I blogged about last time. Haha!! So I think this would have to be the style I’ll imprint on Samsung folks before I go. Hehe.

That shoe definitely picks some colors to be paired on. It was hard coming up with anything on my wardrobe other than the basic colors. :P

I’m not sure I saw this on the upcoming trends but it seems like I’m still in a Safari mode. Last Saturday I indulged myself into some retail therapy and look!! There’s a 50-off-er bag in one of my favorite shops. A zebra print bag!!! :P I first thought of pairing this up with the leopard shoes what with the colors and everything but figured it would be too much. No??

And then I saw again the item on the right and fell in love with its print. :P Besides, it’s too big, like really really BIG that I can use it in my upcoming trips. :) It’s a cow print!! Haha!! :P

Well anyways, for sure this is the part that everybody will miss about me. In the past one and a half year, I’ve earned a lot of titles in the office ranging from “First Lady”, “Muse”, “Style Guru”, “Roadshow Girl”, “Nangkakabog” and everything. But I don't think I deserve them. In the light of what I've just shown, I think it’s best that my title would have to be “Jane of the Jungle”. Hahaha!! But wait a sec, a cow does not live in the jungle right?? Hmmm.

Note: No animals were harmed in the purchase of these items. Hehehe. Or was it?? :D

On an entirely different note, someone’s debuting a brand new hairdo this week. Hahaha!! This is my part of saying goodbye to Samsung with a BANG!! With a bang daw oh?? Hahaha!!! Ayylaavveeeettt!!!

Well I have to admit that the treatment was a bit long overdue. It's just that I'm still nursing my hairfall for the last months. But now it's okay. This will be my new modeling project after Samsung. Hahaha. So move over Nicole Scherzinger. Here comes the new image model of your shampoo.

It’s time to change things.

It’s time to move on.

It’s time…

For CLAIRE. Wahaha!! :D

Better Late Than Never

Philippine Star did a two-page feature on the Innov8 Race held last September. 2 months late but still!! It's me in there, about 7 photos. Hahaha!!!

The exposure's too big to be scanned that I just decided to take a photo using my ever-reliable cam (that is slowly working its way into my bag staples, hehehe). Besides, there's no need to enlarge them. The photos are all available in my Multiply site. (Here and here. ;-)

The best part of this, as compared to the Manila Bulletin a month ago and the Gadgets Magazine is that this one has our names in the caption. Ü Phil Star, thank you. :)

Sorry for making such a fuss about these things. In my new work, there'll be no more events like this. But 's okay. :)

Speaking of which, this is my last workweek in Samsung. Ü Funny how everytime I would ask the bosses to sign my forms for accountability, everyone suspects that I'm really pursuing the craft of modeling!! For reals!! Have they got no eyes?? Haha!!And because explaining my new work will take me more than two sentences to explain, I just kept mum about it. The other one's even pushing me to try and said that engineering is not for me. Tsk!! They're making me blush. Ssshheeesh!!! :D

Mossimo Fashion Show - Party at Ascend

Boohoo. My camera got corrupted and lost all the shots during the fashion show. =,( Luckily for me, prior to the show I entered the dressing room (since we had slight problems on the access, hehe) and took pic of my brother and Chek. They were included in the underwear segment.

And that's the reason why Chek was voted as one of the 100 sexiest women of FHM and my brother included in the Cosmo Bachelor Bash. ^^ The gym goers were once again inspired. Hahaha!! Still I'm sad I don't have pics of the other guys whom I have crushes on. :( Hehe.

The planning I mentioned last time at Krispy Kreme wasn't about this. It's just that Cathy's in a mood for going out and I can't understand why. Hehehe. But I'm afraid that this party-ing might become often while JT's still here. He's gonna leave for the US next year. Tsk!! I don't wanna be branded as a party girl!! But in fairness, the guy's definitely nice to hang out with. The best when in comes to PR!! And to think he's only 21!!

After the show, of course it was time to dance. :) But Cathy, JT and I were moving away from Geoff and Joy. Haha!! We hope they end up together coz we think they're matched. Haha!!

Later, Chek and Lem joined us. Cathy's been longing to meet the two! :)
Afterwards we just quickly hopped on to Piadra to check the crowd. Pretty nice! Ah, yes we are a group of persons who loves taking photos. Hahaha!! :D

But she's the vainest of all. Wahaha!! :))

Who's gonna watch Rihanna and Chris Brown later????

It's SPE-lunking!! Hehehe!!

Whoever discovered cave spelunking is one genius extraordinaire!! For reals!! When we were still at Lake Danum, we were presented with the options of going easy or difficult on the said activity by the tour guide Kuya . KC thinking to herself: “Come on man!! I drove 20 hours just to get here and you’re asking me if I’m gonna take the easy one?? No way!! Bring it on!!”

But maybe 30 mins after the discussion of the burying traditions on the cave and the entrance when I was already presented with the 1st challenge, KC again to herself: “Oh no, can I still back out???” Wahaha!! It was a very small opening with which everybody must enter following some sequence provided by the tour guides. The fear is coming from being confined into small places for a long time which I feel I can’t breathe. I just realized I’m claustrophobic!! I had to verify to the guide if the hole’s gonna be a long one but he said that it’s just some sort of a passage and there will be wide space again so on I marched. :P

Besides, there’s no other way for cowards to reach the end. :P Since I’m not that good in describing, let just the picture speak for it. I valiantly decided to bring my camera despite risks of getting soaked in the water to capture the moments. And boy, I was thankful I did!! Even Bong and his sumptuous SLR!! Can you still see the hole where we came from below??

Since I came with a tank and shorts with a swimwear underneath (not a very good choice I know, I guess I miscalculated it this time haha!!), another challenge from me is to come out without bruises, scratches or whatever from this whole activity. Well these are huge rocks we’re talking about and the BKM (Best Known Method – Intel jargon woohoo!!) taught to us is to do it: Monkey style. Meaning, more use of hands and buttocks. :P Can I call it osteoporosis style?? Hahaha!!!

No words can ever fully describe the thrill of this whole adventure so I’m not gonna discuss it in full length. All I can say is that there were just more small holes (it made me ask the guides what if obese people would like to participate), rappelling along steep surfaces (which will just leave you grabbing the ropes tightly for dear life, haha), amazing rock formations that resembled different animals and things (in which you have to broaden your horizon :P), cold cold water that I super enjoyed even if I froze to death :D, and oh! the stalactites and stalagmites!! Hehehe. So I guess you just really have to see for yourself!!
Btw, if you already saw the album in my Multiply site you will notice that most of the pics above aren’t posted yet. They are the ones from Bong’s cam and please give me ample time to upload the others. ^^ But my most favorite of all is this. Bong, kudos to you on this one. Wushu, if I know he just simply loves taking photos of me. Wahaha!! I kid, I kid. :D
Let me just say that I loved, loved, loved, loved, loved the drama of this shot. If a picture paints a thousand words then this would have to be it. I don’t know but this one’s like, I can formulate a thousand tales about it. Love it!! I do!! Really!! As in!!

Anyways, we finished the whole SPE-lunking (haha, that’s how the guide pronounces it :p) thingy for about 6 hours!! Can you imagine!! It was already 11:30 PM when we emerged out of the cave.

I was satisfied with myself on the outcome of this. First, I came off unscathed even with my limbs exposed. Second, I proved to myself that I can be of the sporty type even if you often see me adorned in dresses. ^^ (Matter of fact I’m thinking of conquering mountain climbing next time. Haha!! But I still need proper equipments for that, and clothes as well coz it has to be done in style. Wahaha!!). And the best-est indicator of all, the WORK-OUT!! Hahaha!! I can’t even compute how much calories I burned in all that strenuous activities. Man it was definitely better than going to the gym on that same Friday!! Hahaha!! And I thought it was bad eating too much ChocNut on the way to Sagada. Hehehe.

Back at Lake Danum, we did some crazy shots: the jump shots. :P

Fun, fun, fun!! :D Speaking of fun and Fridays (with waived gym again, tsk!), a fashion show happening later for Mossimo with my brother in it later. So party at Ascend later, anyone? ;-)

Sagada Epiphanies..Harhar!!

According to Wikipedia, Sagada is a municipality in the mountain of Mt. Province nestled in the middle of a valley. Now who cares about that?? All I know is that we had to endure that bumpy ride along those narrow mountain tracks for some more hours after we stopped over at Banaue. And I thought we were already near in the morning eh?? My butt hurt with all the sitting and staying inside the van already felt like an overwhelming task. Don’t get me wrong though. It was awesome beholding the sight of mountains after spectacular mountains. It was already late afternoon when we were welcomed by Mama Mary (yep, that’s the name of the owner) to her humble abode: the Residential Lodge.

My hair’s sticky and it’s more than 24 hours already since I last took a bath but we were instructed to just leave our things and change clothes quickly for the 1st day’s itinerary. I made a quick dash for the loo and it’s now official: Sagada is the coldest place I’ve been to in the world. Why did I say so?? First of all the weather is cold it reminded me of the time when I was in Gumi-si Korea but the difference here is the water coming from every faucet is sooooooooooo cold. Second the road going to the area is rocky. Hmmm, Rocky road is a flavor of an ice cream right?? Hehehe. Third, the people of the area are more familiar with speaking English than Tagalog aside from the vernacular. Now the natural English speaking people live in cold areas up North right?? Wahaha. Now this last one’s lame. :P

We have very limited time left so off we went to our first destination. But I’m not ready to talk about that yet. The very purpose of this post is to tackle something about the realizations I had on my first day. And those are in my simplest words (1) Discover Pinas and (2) SOS.

(1) Discover Pinas. What with all the cheap rates being offered by different airlines these days going to other countries, most of us are tempted to grab these opportunities. Yeah I said “us” because I’m not going to be a hypocrite here. :P But like I said, I realized there are still a lot of places here in Pinas that I haven’t been to and are truly worth visiting. Take for example this website where we found the Sagada package (
http://discoverpinas.multiply.com, now they really should give me something for promoting their webBoldsite haha!!), you’ll see a lot of hidden beauties to boast for. Yezz! I support Philippine tourism. KC for President. Wahaha!!! J/K. :D

(2) SOS. The mountain view is absolutely stunning. No doubt about that. Take a look for example in one of these shots captured by my 8-megapixel phone (Samsung Innov8) while passing along the Cordillera, isn’t it a beauty??
A post-card worthy even??

But then again there are times when I would look closely then see brownish spots that area supposed to be green. Yup, you know what I’m talking about. Save the trees. I will not go at lengths discussing the importance of this coz I’m sure all of us already know about that but I would just like to share my personal advocacy. You see ever since college I’m the type of person who feels sorry for wasted papers. In Tagalog we call it nanghihinayang (see this for my post on Tagalog words without direct English translation). I make sure that all the bond papers that I am using are fully used back to back. Its either I use the other side for computations during math problem-solving or just any other use. Up to now, I still keep copies of printed papers (e.g old resumes) here in my room for cases when I need to make a draft or plan instead of using new papers. Even shopping paper bags I keep them. ^^ And the other material that I feel “hinayang” for are plastic bags. These ones are not biodegradable and we ought to re-use them if they’re still in good condition. So now you know the two unnecessary items that are adding spaces here in my already cramped and messy room. :P

Wow!! It’s such a relief knowing that even if I do splurge on some things (clothes, shoes, etc.), I do have things which I do save up for. Note: It’s purely coincidental that papers and plastics are related to my addiction of shopping. Hahaha!!! Take note also that I do not say these things to proclaim myself as such and such. I believe that those are just very little efforts on my part in order to save our planet. Remember, God gave us these treasures for us to enjoy and not to destroy. ^^

Let me just share again another view I loved during the ride, the lakes!! It is better viewed from above and this shot below didn’t give much justice to the actual view because we’re moving but here it is anyways.

The first thing that came to my mind is Paradise. This is my exact interpretation of Paradise. Aaah, its lovely!! God made the earth beautiful. Psalms 139: 14 “Your works are wonderful. As my soul is very well aware.” :)

And there you have it. Some reflections of a single girl in a close to 20-hr land drive up North. I mean seriously, if you're in a van surrounded with 4 pairs of couples what will you think about?? Hahaha!!! Up next: cave spelunking. Woot!!! :D

Madagascar 2

Cathy whispers to KC: Bat ganun? Parang tayo lang ang tumatawa?? ( Did you notice?? We're the only ones laughing)

KC: Oo nga eh. (Yeah)

A little later,

JT to Cathy: Bat ka tawa ng tawa? (Why do you keep on laughing??)

Cathy: Eh natatawa ako kay KC eh.. (I'm laughing at KC.)

So okay, I was already exaggerating a bit but I can't help it. Most of the audience were unappreciative or is it because I became deaf to their laughters due to the loudness of my own. Haha!! I wasn't able to watch the part 1 but I love that Alex the Lion has those mannerisms that are so peculiar to Ben Stiller. Hehe.

It's the same FF friends with Joy this time and we watched after gym. ^^ And all the calories burned were put to waste when we headed to Krispy Kreme after for a short vacay planning. Or atleast for me coz I chowed down 2 and a half donuts. Yum!! :D

So to blogspot reader Mike and Carl who "commented" that I'm becoming "quite skinny", good news coz I've been eating a lot lately!! Less cardio on gym also. ^^ I guess this just attests that men really don't like skinny girls. They like them uhmm in Tagalog we call it "malaman". Laman is meat in English. So how do I say it in English then?? Men like meaty girls?? Ahaaha!! I'm lost for words. :D

Anyways, even if I get big as huge as Gloria the Hippo (not necessarily wishing ^^) in the movie, I wish to find a Melman the Giraffe who will still love me despite the differences. Yay!! And that's my take away from the movie. Bow!! Wahaha!!! :D

Now if I may add this. It was a Friday and Fridays are dress-down in the office. I dug up my studded shoes from Janylyn I bought so long ago the leopard shoes have been worn many times than this and wore it like shown below.

JT to KC: Oh, Emba ulit?? (Goin to Emba again? )

KC: Whatever!!

I folded up my skinny to show them off. Not necessarily "in" but I hope I gave justice to it. ^^

Anyways, I really like the studs of it. I'd like to call it ferosh!! :P I saw it worn by one of the celebrity in a shampoo TVC after I got it on sale. ^^

Anyways I hope I can bring it someday to some happening places. I swear they're sooo comfy I can dance all night with them. ^^

So, have you seen the movie yet?

Sagada Prologue

Truth be told, I wasn’t looking much forward to this trip. That Thursday night, I was packing up my things and was looking at the itinerary thinking I could be in a lot of places less far-flung in that 3 days and 2 nights time frame. I was about 3 minutes away from ditching the whole idea - debating to myself whether it would be downright negligent to even bring up the thought of canceling to Lisa without a conceivable, imaginable and acceptable excuse. :P Then I realized that it’s been a long time since I saw her and that this would be a perfect time to touch base with her. (Awww, drama. Haha!!!)

Then at long last I finished my wardrobe rehearsal and got quite excited that the pictures will be better because of the presence of my college friend Bong. You’ve got to listen to me when I tell you; he’s the guy to be with in all the scenic places – over or under water!! Haha!! His SLRs were undoubtedly a hundred grand well spent!! For someone like me who mostly appreciates being the one in the photo or with view, it was almost too weird to comprehend. Hey!! For as long as the pictures look good with me in it right?? Hahaha!!!

Fast forward to Friday night inside the van with Bong and his officemates, you will see the rise of KC the “Nega Star”. Hahaha!!! Okay, first of all let me point out that when Bong said they're a company of nine I didn’t expect that the others would be a quadruple of couples. Yay!! The three of us struggling “singles” were left seated beside each other. Tsk!!

Bong, Lissy and Me

Nonetheless, Lisa and I continued discussing about the dating status of someone and how she’s being negative about it (hey, sounds familiar!! Haha!!) as we subsist on my comfort food ChocNut, Pringles and distilled water. Haha!! Come to think of it, the ChocNut had been a big debate during my grocery whether to include it or not since gym was once again waived that Friday. The ride up North seemed interminable and after some time, the Friday work took its toll on everybody as they started resting but not for me. It seemed like I was doing an extension of my work by doing hand-over tests (ECEs can relate ^^) for one network provider as I stayed on the phone with someone while passing along the Northern provinces. Name it we passed through it: Pampanga, Bulacan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya and ooopps!! Said network provider has relatively zero coverage on that last province. Hahaha!! :P

stop-over (Nueva Vizcaya)

Later it was time for me to take a short nap and by the time I was awaken, I was already beholding the beautiful beautiful sight of the mountains surrounding the Banaue Rice Terraces.

No doubt why it was previously one of the world’s wonder. It was such a refreshing and relaxing sight. The almost 12-hour drive was truly worth it. :)

Make Up Post

Che-che-check my soul sistah Cheksy (Chek Sexy) on the cover of FHM this month. Uhh, someone's gonna be so happy about this. I bet he's gonna rush to the nearest store and grab his own copy. So this one's for ya blogspot reader Mark. ^^

she's the one covering the letter F

This girl according to Summit Inc. editor Allan is one of the most requested cover girl for this mag but she's been refusing to do a solo flight. A body like that should already have propelled her to the stratosphere of confidence!!! But she's one of the most timid girls I know - turning down lead TVCs and other stuffs. I consider it modesty on her part. Gosh, if only I have that gift!! That physique!! Hmm, perhaps I wouldn't do it either. Hahaha!!!

RANT:

- > Well guess what?? My blog viewers are increasing. But one of them isn't welcome. Sorry but he's using this blog to gather evidences from his girlfriend. You know who you are. My god!! Can't you trust your girlfriend??? She's already one "behave" girl. Actually, you're never gonna find anyone else who can stand you and your godforsaken rules!! Grow up man!! Have you ever FOR ONCE considered her H-A-P-P-I-N-E-S-S for the 8 long years that you've been together?? Coz I'm telling you she's living a MISERABLE life with you!! And yes, she can do so much better!!

Whew!! My fine lines are increasing in there. Haha!! Let's proceed to the RAVES!!

-> I just had dinner with my soon-to-be immediate managers this evening and I just can't help but be OVERJOYED with all the plans for me. Apart from all trainings, I'm really looking forward to the strategic planning happening early next year which will be happening on a cruise ship passing along some SEA countries. Nice isn't it? ;-) I'm really thankful to the One above for this opportunity. I guess I must have been really good in my past life for deserving this. ;) And yes, I'm sad that I haven't tendered my resignation letter yet to the HR but some are already treating me as.....................ah!! Don't wanna dwell on it!

-> Party at Emba pictures already available HERE. Check it out! :)

Now I really must start writing on my Sagada Adventure.

Into The Twilight: Party at Emba!!

Nobody gives a party better than Tim Yap - according to the interviewer. And I couldn't agree more. Last Friday, my Fitness First friends Cathy, Geoff, JT and I hit up Emba for a one of a kind ppppaaaarrrtttyyyy!!! Haha!! And we did it VIP style!! Haha!! Thanks to JT and his celebrity cousin whFont sizeose personality you will learn below. Meanwhile, here's the four of us. :)

Yup, it's Aubrey Miles!! She just gave birth to a healthy baby 3 weeks ago and although she's covered up in her costume, she still looks fantastic!! Congratulations to her and Troy!! Speaking of which, Cathy and I were also introduced to Troy and the gushing fan that are us each asked for a pic with him. Hihi. It's in Cathy's cam and I'm gonna publish an album of our pics perhaps tomorrow in my Multiply site. :)

Special thanks also to Aubrey's sis Angie for accomodating us. She's been very kind to us making sure we're enjoying and not running out of drinks. Hehehe. :P She sure looks a lot like Aubrey no??
It's been a lllllllooooooooooonnnnnnnngggggggggg while since I last came here and I still - as always - enjoy the music, the crowd, everything!! :D It's different when you're with FF friends, we always find ourselves remembering the steps for every song used in the group exercises in the gym. Hehe.

Later on, another pretty friend in the gym Eva followed us. Here's the three pretty ladies. ;)

As reported earlier, the leopard shoes went to Emba as well. Haha!! And uhmm, no it wasn't made for dancing. Haha!! My legs hurt but we have the couch so I took a rest once in a while. But it was good though, for standing out and having a better view of the crowd. Haha!! If you know what I mean. *wink wink*

Way to show off Cathy's boots in there - which her mom didn't know. Haha!! More pics to come, watch out!! :D
