Samsung Ultimate Race Gallery #1: Preparation @ Manila Pen

8 teams vying for an 8 megapixel camera phone, the Samsung Innov8. As reported, the preparation was held at the Conservatory Hall of the Manila Pen. It was the most papparazi-filled breakfast I had in my entire life. Haha!!! So here are the teams (pardon I didn't memorize the names of the entire participants so I'll just mention here the celebrities and their assigned specialist. ü)

Team # 1: Asphalt - TJ Trinidad (assigned to Angela)

Team # 2: Face - Paolo Paraiso (assigned to Sir Rommel)

Team # 3: Mosaic - John Hall (assigned to Ms Lyn)

Team # 4: Navigate - Rovilson Fernandez (assigned to Dang)

Tweety Lovers and Women in Black ^^

Everyday is simply a Kodak moment, noh??? And that's the reason why I always bring my V803 with me. Oops, spiel sounds like a testimonial from a customer huh?? Hahaha!!! Gosh, I'm not supporting my company's digicams. Well atleast it's not my department's products. Wahaha!!

Just this Wednesday, me and my favorite girl in the gym Cathy wore our identical Tweety shirts to work out. ^^ We're both Tweety collectors. Hihi.

Apparently it's not only the shirt. We agreed to wear our same pants and rubbershoes. Hehehe. ^^ Thanks to our sponsor Nike. Wahaha!!

Joy has been joining the dance classes lately. Woohoo!! Here we are, the 3 "body-conscious".. :P
This one's with Doc,
Us after dancing, super WASTED!!! I guess that's how effective the workout is, noh?? And the picture-taking didn't end there!! Haha!! The cam whores ham it up this time with the equipments!! Wahaha!!
Eerrr, work it!!! And don't just pose in there!!! Aaarrrghh!! Hehehe.

Then came Thursday. To my surprise, most of the HHP girls are in BLACK!!! I swear we didn't talk about this!! This definitely calls for some photo-ops. MIA here: Ms Jean (also in black but in a meeting with VP) and my two girls Angela and Joy. Tsk!! They didn't receive the voodoo thougthts this morning. Hahaha!!!

Elie, Moi, Lanie, Mye, Steph, Ana, Ms Fe, Raine, Yam and Agnes

Someone from the office quipped that we look like members of a cult. Actually, more like commercial models for CLEAR (anti-dandruff shampoo)!!! Duh??? We're all too pretty to belong to some weird groups. Hehehe.

Pics from the race already complete!!! :D Will give you the blow by blow next week. Enjoy that weekend!! =)

He Will Be Missed

He calls me gorgeous. Well actually not that he uses it as a nickname (^^), he just used that adjective to describe me. Hehe. Of course it’s not the reason why I’m allocating a space about him in here (and the Victoria Beckham comment also ^^), y’all know how I make it a point to write about special persons in my blog.

Among the flock of Korean engineers that come here every now and then, Brian was singular. He made such an impact so big that if we could only ask the bosses in Korea that he replace the next RnD that will be assigned here, we will. The impact is palpable not only to the technical team or to the whole mobile phones department but the whole SEPCO marketing itself you’ll be surprised he even received a farewell gift from one of the product manager from the other department. Not even David came this close although I may say he was a definite second.

Maybe it was his charming ways with people. Although the first time Angela and I set eyes on him, it had both of us talking how just a tweak here, a facial in there, a haircut and he could be the very star of his own Korean drama. Haha!! Of course there was still the language barrier (though he was just studying to improve himself) but he seemed to know everyone in the company and offered greetings or exchange small talks with them. He could move with such ease among that many people without appearing the least bit insecure. Heck he even had a quite heated up argument with Sir Rommel about a certain issue and after some time the latter warmed up to him and even gave a special gift to him before he left. ^^ But most of all, he’s special because the kind of person that I am when I’m with him. :P

I guess he’s just the type of the person that I’d love to annoy because I’m sure that he will not get mad. Actually, annoy is not the proper term but in Tagalog we call it “kulit” (yes, another one of those without direct translation. :P). There was a time when he just went away for a smoke and I changed his fonts in his IM. Not just a simple change mind you, it was a 14 pt, BOLD, screaming PINK Tahoma. Oh, how I laughed in my desk when he noticed it just when he sent his first PM to me. Haha!! Another scenario was when he came back to the room looking at me like a suspect then waving his SGH-F480 to me. I changed the wallpaper to a group picture of us (Angela, Joy and I). Hehehe. There’s still the usual dibs on her English lessons of course and to sustain his learning sometimes I ask him nonsense questions (the next one more inane than the previous) and the hypothetical ones. =P One time there was a palm reading session because I showed him who Madam Auring is (haha!!), said he also knows something on that studied my palms and told me that only two men will come into my life. He knew about the ex-bf (duh, who else hasn’t?? haha) and likewise on his ex-gf. I asked him how many has he left and he said he’s got three more. Then came the next query what does my parents think of having a non-Filipino bf. Of course, it’s silly of me to think that there’s something more to that??? Right??? Hahaha!!!

On my birthday, his last dinner, I gave him a book so he can continue on with his learning. Aside from that he received quite a number of gifts from everyone and was overwhelmed with the affection from everybody. Yeah he will definitely be missed and craved for just like the Starbucks frappes he often brings to us after lunch. ^^

Hancock with his angels, wehehe

with his spiky hair cut, on the way to Minato.hehe

On another note,

SinceI just dedicated a whole 6 months (30 installments) of writing a travelogue that not-really-revolved about him :P, I felt quite responsible to update you with another someone that for sure will be sorely missed. Last week I received a farewell email from Samuel expressing his intentions of moving company. Yes!! It's Samuel the most-handsome-man-my-eyes-have-ever-clapped-on. His last day was yesterday. *boo hoo* Positive news though, I'm not going to write another thingy like this about him. I'll save you the boredom. :P

When You Hoard

- You do it during sale. :D
- You do it in multiple colors.

Hmm yeah this is the aftermath of the end of season sales that occurred sometime this year (lasted for more than a month I think). Tsk!! Warning: this post is image heavy!!
Ok, I know black is really not a color. But let me just point out that I love the timelessness of anything that's black from Mango. I can wear them forever!!! I love the way these items hug my body. I love everything about Mango!!!! Hahaha!!!

- As for the items in blue, I dunno but I just love white and blue for my sporty items. That's one quirky thing about me. :P Sorry I don't have pics for the items coz ya know, I'm too cool to take pics in the gym. Ahaha!!! J/K. ^^

- When item is not in sale, still you insist justifying that the top is a wise buy since it can be paried with most of the bottoms in your wardrobe. Hehehe.

- But my most favorite is that one with the white skirt. Here's a candid pic taken by Mr. Back when someone brought her pet rabbit in the office. Hehe. The hare reminded me of my same pet when I was a kid named Cathy, Lem has also one in black or gray and he was named Patty. :P

- Of course you just don't do it for clothes only. Are you kidding me?? That would be a big BIAS!! Haha!! Take a look at my new lovely ladies. Hihi.
This is just a little short story on my lady A and the benefits of being a mall “wanderer”. Hehehe. I’ve been eyeing that stilettos from a shop for sometime now and I’ve been hesitating to buy it. For something like that’s so “film-like” (artistahin as my Tita put it), the price is not practical for the very few times that it would be used. But then one ordinary window shopping day, I found that pair in a different shop (weird!!), it’s so similar and the item is on “SALE” and not only that, it has the biggest size (a very rare scenario and I took it as a sign from heaven that it’s really for me, haha!!). My quick math computation told me that this price is 70% off the original and so the rest is history.

As for gallery B above, let me just point out the disadvantage of being with a model-like framed friend. You see, I already have that item in brown color and I wasn’t supposed to buy that coz it doesn’t appeal that much to me. But when Raine fitted it (the brown one) in her LBD, it had me asking the lady to ask for my pair. Yes it was on sale when Raine and I bought the item and I’ve been enjoying the peep-toe thank you very much. Another visit to the shop last time exposed this red lady to me and a closer look revealed that it’s even reduced to about 75% off of the original price. I guess it’s a sign of addiction that I went for it even if I already have another pair of the same type. :P

As for the last one, it’s not on sale but every model (frustrated if I may add in my case :P) must have Mary Janes. Simply put, haha!!

I know that what with my already tall (for the average Filipina) frame and my fear of varicose veins, I really should be avoiding high heels but what’s a girl gotta do????????

Of course they've been worn already. :P

Lastly, something fresh from the grill ( as in outfit today, haha!!), another 50 off-er trench coat. ^^ Because there's again the typhoon, hahaha!!! :P
I really wish I could have nice background for the pics to emphasize the items. *sigh* I know I shouldn't be posting about this when I've just done Part 1 of the race. There were 11 CDs for the whole event and so far we only have the first two. Sad.

Aside from some of the cons that I've partly mentioned in here, do I have to emphasize that hoarding is bad for your finances??? Yeah it really is. LOL!!!

Tagalog 101

Talk about long overdue post. This is the topic that I’ve long wanted to post in here but just couldn’t find to finish in one sitting. Boy was I happy that Chico and Delamar talked about this in their morning FM show and I participated in the discussion. Haha!! This could’ve been an “August special post” (Geese, I don’t know why I trouble myself with coming for such concept. :P) but it was our country’s Buwan ng Wika ( now how do I translate that. Month of Language?? I have no idea!) and as a citizen of course I’m proud to show to the world just how beautiful our language is.

Today, esteemed ladies and gentlemen, I’m going to talk about Tagalog words that don’t have exact English translation. I admit, sometimes I really do have a hard time translating some words to make it understandable to uhmm the audience below (see pic). :P Chico and Del were right. These words come really close to the heart because they’re integrated into the Filipino culture. Right??? Right!! :P But since this is not a learning site (much like those you browse for useful phrases when you visit a new country :P) I’m just going to talk about those words that were already used/will be used here in my blog. Wow!! Talk about altruistic causes huh? Hahaha!!! I only came up with Top 5 (not Tough Payb!! :D) because explaining them already takes more than one sentence to explain. Anyways, here goes:

(1) Kilig. A feeling very common for girls (for me!! haha!!). It’s that certain feeling of excitement when something romantic is happening. Usually felt when there is a development between her and whoever she is crushing on. Example: My crush asked me out for a coffee. Kinikilig (present tense, not kilig-ing :P) ako!! Thrilled, excited, tickled pink may come close but it’s like everything combined with a romantic aspect into it. Gosh, I so hope I made it clear. :P

(2) Tampo. I always thought that sulking is the exact equivalent of this word but I was wrong. I’m not exactly sure if this is peculiar to Filipino culture but this is the feeling you feel when you felt that feeling you’ve never felt before. Hahaha!!! Just kidding. Hmm, a very good example would be when my best friend came here in the Philippines for a month and I only saw her for 3 days because she has to spend time with another cousin of her coming here. I felt “tampo” because there’s this certain feeling of hurt in me that she prioritized the cousin, I’m not exactly mad at her and the tendency here is to shun myself away from her but it will be eased once something is done like saying sorry or it will just naturally pass away for a few days. It’s like a temporary hurting feeling. Maybe that’s why it’s called tampo, because it’s tempo and not perma??? Ahahaha!!! :D

(3) Sablay. When a cager threw a shot and he missed it, we call it sablay. When a student fails a certain subject, we refer to it just the same. But for men, I found this very interesting description from a website, “Hari ng Sablay" (King of Sablay) is a guy who never quite gets it right, who has the best intentions, but is always off-center with everything, it may pertain to actions, sentiments or just about anything. Generally, they are seen as clumsy or dumb in some aspects.” This is one reason why I admire those persons who really has a way with words. ^^ A loser, screw up, a failure can come close but it’s really different when we call it Sablay in Tagalog. :P Now you understand when I say that I’m the female equivalent when it comes to love, the Reyna ng Sablay. Wahaha!!! Geese, do I really make fun of situations where I have absolutely NO control of????

Okay, pause first. Guys, how am I holding up as teacher KC?? Hahaha!!! Come on, I did my research!!! You’ve got to give me credit for it. =P Moving on,

(4) Baduy/Jologs. Like sablay this is I think another Filipino slang but this one is more of a subjective word. Before this term only means something unfashionable which is of course depends on one’s personal choice. However, the word took on a larger meaning by associating it with doing something cheesy, low-class or uncouth. This is a term I don’t have problems being referred to like how I’ve admitted in my post below that Vince Hizon is the cover of my Filipino notebook when I was a sophomore. =P It’s like something that you’re not really proud of doing but it’s a secret pleasure or addiction. Aargh!! This one’s tough. For me, I believe that there’s a little kabaduyan in all of us. Haha!!

(5) Sayang!! A general expression for something wasted. For example, rotten food that will only be thrown to waste. We express, Sayang!! Also blurted out when you are mere 5 seconds late for the train, a could’ve been good opportunity (career) that you just missed, meeting someone when you’re already committed (lovelife =P yeah there’s even a song that has that title).

Whew!!! I hope some of you benefited from today’s lesson. Aahaha!! OMG!!! Our national hero Jose Rizal will be proud of me for doing this!!! Ahahaha!!!

Anyways, speaking of translations and everything, what’s your take on those Tagalized versions of Billboard hits like Rihanna’s Umbrella, Leona Lewis’ Bleeding Love, Fergie’s Clumsy and many more??? No offense but don’t you think they’re B-A-D-U-Y??? I mean yes they’re in our own words (as in literal translation how about that!!!) but of course there’s also this thing called O-R-I-G-I-N-A-L-I-T-Y right???

Anyways, don’t you ever think you’re going to escape on this. Coz like any other lessons, you also have to your homeworks to use those words in a sentence and use the comment section below. Ahahaha!!! International viewers, this is homework #1. Hahaha!!!

Just kidding. I just hope this post somehow helped you or added some "pertinent" info. Hahaha!!! Meaning, the next time I use them here you must already know what they mean okay??? Haha. Class dismissed!! :P

Samsung Ultimate Race Part 1 (The Vince Hizon Madness!!)

Call time: 8 AM Manila Pen!! My golly!!! That’s too early!! Since I was on leave the day before, I finished with Angela in the phone around 12 AM hashing and rehashing all the things I missed during the final meeting. Honestly, I was hurt that the final pairing was changed and I will be teamed up with a female celebrity since according to the boss it will be for the best. I might “not be able to concentrate” during the game if I was to be paired up with a guy. :(

Not anticipating the event anymore, I asked Angela to wake me up in the morning. Poor girl!!! :P I’m such a drag!! Haha!! The idea of this “Amazing Race” I learned came from the “creative people” of Samsung Vietnam where at first I thought of cursing due to the amount of workload we all had to endure 2-3 days prior the event but then now consider thanking for coming up with such “innovative” (since it had to match the phone :P) concept. Fickle!! Haha!! :D

But then again all the soreness disappeared once we were already having breakfast in The Conservatory of the Peninsula Manila and the celebrities (MALE!!) were all arriving one by one!! Ahahaha!!! A quick recap of my male (of the finest specie!!) encounters revealed that yeah, I might not be able to perform during the race since now I’m only seeing them from afar and I’m already gushing about them, I mean how much more if I got stuck with them inside the provided van during the game proper??? Ahaha!!! Oh what the heck, I’ve confessed here a thousandth times that MEN are my Achilles’ heel. Hahaha!! So I guess yeah, this is all for the best!!! Ahahaha!!! :D

with our Amazing Race 3 rep in the background :P

After a hearty breakfast, we were already instructed to proceed to our designated table to get to know our team. One team is comprised of 4 individuals: a celebrity, a media partner, a Samsung dealer and a product specialist. I learned that my celebrity partner will be Ms Patricia Bermudez. Honestly, I don’t have any idea who she is but of course I was informed that she’s doing the sportscasting for PBA and is the wife of the ex-PBA cager Vince Hizon. Come to think of it, it was only that week when I learned that Vince didn’t end up with the equestrienne he was dating before. And this considering that I crush him when he was still affiliated with Ginebra before. Ms Patricia welcomed me with a warm smile as I approached our table in the center, right infront of the podium.

But when I saw the man on stage, I was like “OH!! EM!! GEE!!! Vince Hizon is here!!!” I mean, VINCE HIZON!!! The guy whom I had an ENORMOUS crush on when I was in my sophomore!!! I can’t believe he’s here!!! My gosh!! Call me jologs, baduy and everything I don’t care!!! His picture is the cover of my huge notebook for Filipino subject in 2nd year. It’s that notebook where Tagalog literature is all about “Florante at Laura” and our teacher asked us that we keep our notes artistic and colorful!! Seeing his picture is my source of inspiration when I was studying. Call me lunatic but I was the lead of that subject. :P He’s one of the reasons why I love the number 12 (well, aside from the fact that I find most of the cute cagers use that number :P). He’s also a factor for starting loving the said sports when I was still young!!! Migosh!!! I can’t believe I’m gonna have the chance to meet him!!! It’s like…..like meeting the man of your dreams and then meeting his beautiful wife. And isn’t it ironic?? Don’t you think??? It’s like re-hi-yey…oooookkkaaayyyy.. Enough! :P I’m just too ecstatic to see him, he will be hosting the event. :D

Vince "The Prince" Hizon

Moving on, there was a very brief tutorial on some of the phone's features conducted by our PM Raine. After which we were then provided with everything we'll need for the race: our shirts, towels, raincoats (a typhoon is threatening the success of the event) and a mini bag with alcohol and bottled water. Before we were instructed to leave the hotel in a hurried but civilized manner (haha!!), the photogs requested for a group pic first. :P Can you find me?? ;-) Most of the celebrities (hunks!!!) are at the back. Come on ladies, widen your eyes!!! Hahaha!!!

Don't worry though. I'll be posting the pics in my Multiply for a better view. ^^ I'll talk about the grouping, the celebrities and the race on my next post. Don't miss it!! :D

** Yeah while I was doing this, I made a quick Google of Ms Patricia and learned that Vince's proposal to her was historical since it was done during a halftime break in the Cuneta Astrodome. Since when did I become so outdated??? The review for the board exams could only be the acceptable excuse. :P And then I did what any normal sane person would do(jealous if i may add, haha!!), I Youtube'd it. But there's none in there. Anyways, that was one romantic moment!! :P **

As you all know, the launch involved a very exciting "Samsung Ultimace Race" held in the morning and afternoon last September 11 where yours truly was one of the participants. :P It was a totally fun and exhausting race with the Samsung dealers, celebrities and media partners but I'll shush about it for now - until the pictures come out. Hehe.

After freshening up for a bit in Mandarin Hotel after the race, we went straight to the night affair at Blue Leaf in Taguig where the my two girls Angela and Joy were too excited to attend their first Samsung event. :D However, we were a bit disappointed with our hair and make-up (even if it's the most expensive cosmetics my face have ever experienced :P, I'd still prefer Eric from the last roadshow). There's not much to blog on the night event also as most of the "competitive" celebrities whom I've bonded with during the race didn't make it. Oh, daddy Gabby Concepcion was there. Hehehe. And as if it's not enough, Kuya Manny's pics were also not flattering. Hehehe. So we just decided to use our ever-reliable phones. :P This one's with Jenny. :)

Can you tell where was this taken??? It's in the hotel of course, in the bathroom no less. Addicts!!! Hahaha!!!

I'm already excited to start writing about the race. Haha!!

Cosmo Bachelor Bash!!

Still dolled up from our company's night affair (will blog soon), Joy and I went to the Cosmo Bachelor Bash at A venue in Makati. Joy was at first hesitant, but I told her "Sayang ang damit!" Hehehe.
Like I told you Lem was one of the bachelors in the show. He was part of the Guess segment. Since we arrived just in time, we were positioned on the outskirts of the VIP area. The pictures I took of him aren't that good. But then of course, the supportive girlfriend Chek was there infront. We simply couldn't join her coz the place was of course jampacked with girls and gays alike - what else would I expect?? Hahaha!!!

Even if I'm totally knackered from the Samsung's Amazing Race in the morning (8 AM call time Manila Pen!!!), I was still able to give a good shriek during my brother's catwalk and that of the centerfolds': Billy Joe Crawford, Akihiro Sato (my oh my!!) and Bruce Quebral!!

I would very much love to attend Akihiro's post party in Greenbelt but Chek preferred some intimate dinner at Pier One. Joy had to duck out early though, too bad!!

With Allan, one of the editors from Summit Inc. Thanks for the VIP Pass Mare!! :P

After the picture-taking, I said "Yun o, mafe-feature na yan sa Cosmo. Haha!" How I wish!!LOL!!

OT is not just Overtime :P

Overwhelming!! As everybody wished, yeah the single girl received lotsa loving on her day last Monday!! ÜÜÜ The morning was busy with lots of phone calls (boys!! haha!!) and international texts, approving Friendster comments and reading greeting messages. Somebody surprisingly showed up during lunchtime and the dinner was spent with the group for a farewell dinner for Brian (this time charged on the boss, hehe).

Bday suit!! In a mannequin-like pose!! LOL!!

Devouring my favorite Sam Gip Sal. Aaah, I can live in Korea!!! The southern one of course, haha!!

Of course, I can guzzle up that bloody Soju. 3 bottles!!! Ahaha!! J/K. ^^

The group pic in Minato: Look who's full!!! It's definitely Sir Rommel. Sir Jay's paunch is but natural. Hahaha!!!

Toxic!! Oh wow. I've been working in the office til night for 2 days now. The rain adding up to the cause of extending in the office. If you've seen my calendar last week, y'all know what's the cause of these extra work. Today we just did a dry run of the "Amazing Race" event driving over the Metro to check the different pit stops. It was energy-draining. Aaargh!!! Good luck to me on Thursday!! Haha!!

I should be posting about something else for today but my brain is literally blank for now and I'm thankful that the pictures serve as a good substitute. Proof: look at the title of this post. Haha!!! I don't even know what's up with the letters on the subjects lately. Hehe. But this one is definitely lame!! Hehe. More news as and when!! ^^

B's on a Friday!!!

B is for my brother’s billboard. Again, not that it’s his first. The first one was for the ABE TVC he did before. Funny how I asked Mike before to take a photo of the said billboard for me since he was the one passing along Edsa every single working day (I’m talking about the time when he was still employed for Intel and I just started for my current) and when I saw the said thing myself, oh why it was installed along next to POEA which is just very near my office. Haha!!

Well anyways, once upon a bloghopping I stumbled upon this anonymous “model” who claims that it’s too tacky for persons in their field to collect mementos of their so-called achievements. She’s speaking like it’s just normal for their faces to be plastered all over magazines, billboards, etc. Personally I think it’s hypocrisy. I mean, if you’re in that field whose means of earning income is by taking advantage of your beautiful face then you might as well keep track of those (even just a softcopy for crying out loud!!) and consider them your milestones. Right?? Heck when I saw my name and picture in one of the local newspapers showed to me by my classmate, I begged for him to just give me the copy. :P That long page of newspaper might have turned yellow already but yes, I’m still keeping it safe in a cabinet along with my diplomas and other important documents. :P

As for my brother, yeah he keeps those mags with him in it. He takes shots during TVC shoots and I don’t see anything wrong with that. I even remembered him telling me that his lead girl in one of his past TVCs even took a shot of her with the MRT in the background. The said train was fully covered in green with their print for a bubble gum TVC. Remember the one with Lem in it?? ;-) Now the girl is already famous after winning a modeling search and is starting a career in showbiz. I’ve always liked her. :)

Well actually Lem doesn’t have to sweat it out coz the big sis already took it upon herself to keep a record. Haha!! In fact, I’m this close to posting an album of his projects (since achievements sounds like arrogance on my part :P) in Multiply. Hehe. I just don’t have the time. :P So after like four paragraphs (haha!!), yeah I give you the billboard. :P Pardon the lame shot, it just happened on a tardy Friday this morning and I remembered about Lem’s news on his billboard. Lucky me always ready with my camera asked the driver to slow down so I can take a shot. :P They asked him to keep those stubble - hmm I didn't like it. Oh well, directions are directions. :P

B is for Brian’s treat. :D This is already his last week here in the Phils.:( He’ll be leaving in Tuesday. :( :( :( I had to finish a report for the day so I asked the guys to wait for me. To my disappointment, I passed by their room and they already left without me. Disconsolate, I packed my things and headed straight to the gym ignoring their texts to just follow in Italianni’s. (Drama queen that I am!!) I was already half-dressed for my work-out when I received a call from him!!! :D Haha!! And that explains the work-out jacket for the dinner. :P

The Korean engineers with the yuppies of HHP. :P

B is for Body Jam!! Yes I didn't forget about the gym. Even with the air-conditioner dysfunction and the group ex room fast becoming like a sauna, I persevered dancing til the end. I loved the mix of the jam that night, lotsa jumping and stomping!! Whew, such passion!! :P

Anticipating the 2nd Week of September :)

Ba de ya, say do you remember. Ba de ya, dancing in September. Ba de ya, never was a cloudy day!!! Hahaha!! Woohoo!!! A lot of stuffs going on for this month. :D I wish I can just pull the days so I don't have to wait anymore. :P Here's my calendar for next week, just the teensy weensy details of what's gonna happen. The said week's going to kick off with my 25th year on this Earth on Monday. Aaaaaaacccckkk!!! It's not really worth anticipating for??? Right?? Haha!!

Sept. 8 - Ü 25. Uhmm, online greetings/gifts or whatever are accepted. Ahahaha!!! J/K. ^^

Sept 9 - =( This is going to be a sad day.

Sept 10 - Life-changing moment. Am I finally having a boyfriend??? Am I going to change career??? Hmmm, I'll keep you intrigued. Haha!!

Sept 11 - Samsung event. I'll keep my mouth zipped on what model will this be. But the affair is exciting coz it's something ala Amazing Race. Woohoo!! And, get this!! The technical group has a special participation. The set-up was finalized this morning and if everything pans out according to the plan, then I'm going to be teamed-up with my celebrity Dad. WHO????? Oh why it's none other than my showbiz Dad Gabby Concepcion. Ahahaha!!! It's a father-daughter collaboration basically. Wahaha!!! Sssshhh!!! I spilled too much. :P

I'm quite torn on the night of this day coz the gala affair coincides with the Cosmo Bachelor Bash where my brother Lem will be featured as one of the eligible bachelors. Hmmm...I wonder why Cosmo isn't consistent. I mean, Lem was already featured last year in their magazine and he was not included in the party, only now.. Hmm.. Anyways, I'm anticipating the shirtless hot men..hotta hotta!! Hahaha!!!

Sept 12 - Go down South straight from work for some island hopping until the weekend. Aaahhh!!! Swimming...swimming!!! Woot!!!

There!! That explains why I was busy the last days although I know I've lots of stuffs to write about (i.e. March trip I promise I'll work on that soon. Anong petsa na??? Hehe. ). Anyways, for sure there will be lots of stuff also to read next week so make sure you stick around. Hehe. Aaah, I really love my birth month. ÜÜÜ Ba de, Ba de, Ba de, Ba de, Ba de...(play till it fades). Hehehe. :P

Executively Yours + Monday Dinner

Meeting with the president??? Business client presentation??? Nah. This is probably my last hurrah for what they say color of the year. Does the shade still look "in" to you??

Too bad I still love this trench coat. :( Oh well.

Dinner with Lem and Chek. They dropped by the office since I miss seeing this ZEXY gurl!! Can you imagine how coincidental that in just a day two people were asking me about her - one has just returned from Singapore and the other one is an ex-officemate. Gosh, she's so popular!! Hehe. :P

At times it's so cathartic being single. You know it's relieving that you have all the time in the world to spend some time with your brother and his girlfriend (or simply be the third wheel if you look at it the other way, hehe). But then again it's quite a torture being with two lovers who are so disgustingly in love. Haha!! Here we are at Tempura Greenhills:

Looks like I really have to get rid of that coat. It's being omnipresent in every get together here in this blog. Hehe. :P

Aaah, young love :D

Here's with the girl who I can never measure up with in terms of BODY!! Haha!!

EOP (End of Post)..Hehe..
