12 Days To Go

Will it be ok? 12 more days to go before this trip and I’m still worried as to how things will pan out. Tell me how do I enthuse on this trip when I’ve got these to think of??

(a) The RnD team. I’ve told you before how I got into disputes via e-mail at work due to my punctiliousness in English translations of texts in our phones and manuals. Yes, it’s part of my job and I love doing it. Sometimes I feel like this is the ultimate realization of my passion for the said language ever since I came to school. I once received this email saying that “We Koreans also studied English for six years…..” when they wouldn’t budge on my grammar corrections. O, don’t give me that look as though I tramples and insulted their proficiency. Trust me; I did it in my most winsome professional way. And the thought of meeting them just makes my inside shrivel up. Imagine, I’ve sent them requests over and over again to change the texts. I don’t think they’re that mad at me.

(b) The Global Conference. I must say, excelling before was a piece of cake due to the experience + English fluency + “looks” factor. Yes, the last one definitely has to be added. Wahaha!! But this time it’s different. Attendees this time doesn’t just involve South East Asia (SEA) but European counterparts as well whom I haven’t had exchange of correspondences to begin with. Well, since it involves production floor visits maybe I’ll just capitalize on my factory experience before at Intel. And let us not forget the “looks” factor also. Wahaha!! I think I can still do it. Aja!

(c) The Korean delicacies. I’ve been to Korean restau only once and again like what was narrated, I only found “beef” to be the edible food in the table. I love veggies and spices but I’m still not sure on those leafy thing dipped into different kinds of spices. My boss advised me not to be choosy on foods to pay respect as visitors which is what I do intend to do naman even before. I still haven’t done something on my chopsticks skill, boo!! So can I just load on that famous “Jamppong”? Wahaha!! Hmm, I don’t think why I even consider this a worry when in fact it can be helpful in my diet. Right? Haha. Positive side. =P

(d) Drinking bouts. You know me guys, the quintessential good girl. I don’t hate alcohol. It’s just that I never developed a taste for it. Ever since he found out, my boss told me to be accustomed to Koreans on this habit of them coz however canny and sly I may be I can’t escape it in Korea. (Read here for my Davao es-ka-pe) In fact, he even asked me to start drinking little by little each day. But I still don’t want to get plastered on a foreign place so I already connived with Lawrence about this. Aaah Lawrence, he’s one of the reasons why I look forward on this trip. And now that I mention him, allow me to narrate something. I mean, what would this guy do without me? Haha. He only learned the trip from me on that night that the announcement came. Apparently, the invitation got buried from his millions of email. He even asked me to re-send it. Anyhoo, he said that we’ll work it out when we’re there. One of the devise he schemed is to tell them counterparts that we’re going out on a date. Would you believe it? Haha. The fact that he mentioned it means……..means…….there is a possibility. Right? Kilig. Haha!! Ok, back to drinking. My indigenous talents are once again challenged on this (e.g exchanging singing on stage for beer, acting drunk to avoid the drink..) Maybe I'll try dancing this time, good luck to me. Haha!!

There. Lots of maybes. I don’t know what’s in store for me. But I’m still anticipating especially on this one topic that I won’t include on this post because it will take me more than two sentences to elaborate. In fact, I can wax poetry about it all night. Haha! And if you still haven’t guessed, then you definitely don’t know me yet. It’s about winter fashion dude! =P Yeeha!! That will be for the next attraction. Ü Ü Ü

Lovin' Red

Specially prepared for those who miss seeing the clumsy, eye-sore, trying hard fashionista me. Wahaha! Do I have a specific girlfriend in mind? Err, Allen? Haha! My recent rags, I mean glad rags:

Petit Mondeay:

Kamisetish Tuesday:

Malditang Wednesday:

Bayonic Thursday:

Freewayday:

And going straight to party:

You know, in theory. I can NEVER wear that to party. My mom's gonna bite my head off for posting this let alone wear this outside. Haha!

For those who can recall, I have posted already something like this before entitled The Black n White Saga. (Gosh, as if I have religious followers. Haha!) Ok, 5 seconds to click on the link. =P But that eponymous post was more on my passion for combining those two timeless hues. Also it was more concentrated on trousers instead of these girly skirts now. I guess styling it up in dressy ways this time means I've turned more malandi over the years. Wahaha! Kiddin'.

Another thing is that doing it more colorfully this time signifies the opposite of the mourning colors before. Red is a happy color and yes, I am genuinely happy now compared to before. It is also a color of love. But no, none yet. There are no signs of love yet in the air. Ü

I'd like to end this post by thanking my sponsors. Aside from the above secondary names used as adjectives (coz I ran out of descriptions, haha!), big thank you goes to my primary endorsement. It's my fave shop in the whole wide world, Charles n Keith. =P =P =P KC for CnK, don't we make a pair? ;-)

The Laundry Lass

(written long ago and is now posted as a tribute to Kinsella's The Undomestic Goddess)

The realization that I don’t have much time to think about will be evidenced by what I’m going to pontificate upon………………

Let me reiterate: When it comes to household chores, I’d rather: (1) do the laundry (my clothes only), (2) clean & decorate (whole house and my room) and lastly (3) wash the dishes.

Those who have read this might have stepped into the brakes upon reading it. But fyi, I started to help out in the laundry area when I was in 4th year high school. And for the record, I’ve been regularly doing my laundry ever since.

Oh you may think it was an easy job due to the wonders of technology but no, I refused to use the machine and our maid’s help until I started working. It’s not that I don’t trust its cleaning ability but its more on the doubt of handling my delicate precious possessions, my clothes!

So if you do the math, I’ve been doing the menial job of handwashing for a grand total of 5 years. Aaah, poor hands! But hey, I’m not complaining. All the hard work and exhaustion seems to vanish once you see them cleansed and hung to dry. It’s a great feeling to know that you can sashay through life once more wearing them. :)

The years of experience will make you say that I’m a master of the task. Over the years, I learned to perfect it and know some basic tips in washing. There’s that rule of thumb on separating the whites, blacks and the colored. So, what happens is that they get piled up and takes week before I wash (the blacks and whites). I even discovered a detergent that is specially meant for black clothes. Also, the pointer on hanging the blacks inside out so they don’t fade and the list goes on.

Every now and then some mishaps are still being encountered. Take for example last summer where all my swimsuits were damaged. But laundry has been like a therapy for me and I have no plans of giving it up. Yeah, I'll keep on doing it even if it means additional back pains for some stacked 3-week dirty clothes. ;)

ADDA Goes to Redbox

ADDA stands for Apat Dapat Dapat Apat. It’s not actually official but I just coined the term to denote completeness of the original Tagaytay tambays.Ü Ü Ü** It’s been ages since we last got together. Lately, it’s just me and Lisa, girls' date with either Mike or Xtian. The usual reason Xtian can escape his “kumander” (haha) is when there’s a visiting counterpart usually from Intel Chandler. Whatever reasons, it’s just simply a bliss seeing all of us together. :D

Xtian, Lisa, Moi and Mykee

The lyrical princess admits albeit embarrassingly that it’s her first time here. Yikes! So I know bugger on operating the machine as compared to my honed skills in manipulating our videoke. LOLS! Well, in comparison I’d rather choose from a printed material than seeing a list on the screen ‘coz you know, it doesn’t really present you all the options in a comfy way. (Gosh, as if I don’t know very well my “piyesa” haha!) And what’s up with these new songs with MTV videos but doesn’t have the lyrics? BOO!! Thank goodness for my sharp memory, haha!

So when I finally got the hang of it, what to expect than to present myself in my mic-hogging glory? Haha!

Nice floral print

Let me just point out that this happened a day after Beyonce’s concert (with all my screeching) and after a Starbucks frappe earlier coz I didn’t know this would be the agenda. But I’m impressed, my voice hasn’t failed me. Wahaha!! But this one, hindi kinaya ng powers ko. Mike arrived an hour late but came prepared with a list of songs on his phone. Kamusta naman? Haha. He also taught me this trick on inserting your song from being last on the queue. So by now you pretty much have an idea on who and who reigned on the microphone. Wahaha!!

It was a happy Thursday night. I think we played our role as hosts very well to David and I made sure I entertained him with my well, stand-up comedienne skills. Wahaha!! But when I saw the bill, I faltered. I’m RESOLUTE I’ll stick to our videoke. LOLS! But I’m preparing something, some kind of a request from a blog reader ű. I hope I’ll finally have the time for it. Leaving you with group pics:

groupie with David and Pam

and of course, the complete ensemble =P

;)

Til my next firsts narratives. Tata! =)

** Of course, I was referring to our Intel times back then. There are 2 reasons for our super extended lunch-out at Tagaytay: (1) it's payday and (2) it's a Lazy Friday. =P

SG Day 4c Travelogue: Shopaholic Turned Drama Queen

Still in the hotel. I called up the airlines to move my flight from Saturday to a holiday Monday so I can spend more time with my best friend. Sadly, Sunday’s the only available and I had to be waitlisted. After the call, I looked at the time and to my utter horror, it’s already 5:30 and Joy’s already waiting in her office.

Friday Agenda: Orchard Mall. Woohoo!! Since August, Joy’s been urging me to visit her because of the massive Charles n Keith sale. Based on the latest news, it’s still on and I have to hurry. ;)

Just like any best friends would do, she introduced me to all of her officemates. So you know, the next time we talk about gossips, we can easily relate to. Haha!! Joy even told me that one of the Indian managers found me pretty and he’s offered to find me a job there. That sounds Wow pero Indian na naman? Go figure!

Joy's office

Since Orchard is too far, we’ll take the MRT. The EZ link card is dual purposed (for bus and train, why can’t we imitate that?). And with our camera, expect a lot of pics along the way. By the way we were with Juliet. She’s Joy’s ex best friend and was about to get married when I came into the picture so I can say it’s a perfect timing. She followed Joy in SG and I’m thankful she’s there to look after her.

I will never get excited again in riding SG’s MRT. I found it hard to breathe inside the crowded train because of the well, mixed odor. It’s not that I’m maarte or sensitive, it’s just simply unbearable. Still, I preferred not to use my hanky to pay respect as a tourist. Ehem, hehe.

On the way to Orchard

As I see the mob walking on the streets, I feel overexcitement rising through me. This is it! My dreamt-of shopping spree with my best friend abroad is finally happening. =) As I look left and right, a series of fabulous names rushes past my eyes. Despite my not-so-shopping-friendly sandals, my steps have more spring in them that when I stepped onto the Takashimaya mall, I silently muttered “I’m home.” Haha!

On our left is a very familiar name that perfectly fits the phrase: TO DIE FOR, Louis Vuitton. There’s no question, we’ve got to enter. I’ll be a hypocrite to say that I don’t fancy having a bag here, WHO DOESN’T????? But you know, it’s just an easy answer to the question: “If money is of no matter, what would you splurge on?” just like what I see in those magazines. I have to confess a little secret here, it’s my first time to enter this boutique because frankly you can never do that in the Philippines, your own country. Looking for bags after spectacular bags, I feel buoyant with relief. I didn’t check the price though ‘coz I don’t want to experience vertigo. Haha!!

We checked on different boutiques that catch our eyes and honestly my legs are already hurting. And what’s adding more and has got me slightly annoyed is the way Juliet and Joy checks for other less interesting shops for their needs. Am I selfish?

Until finally we reached this sale, the very reason why we went to Takashimaya in the first place: the great toy sale. Juliet wants to buy something for her daughter and Joy as well for some family friend’s baby. Before they left me in a corner, Joy was aware I’m already bone-tired. You all know what happened yesterday. She even took me photos before she left and it’s obvious in the picture below:

toy store

As they go on searching on the sea of toys, I don’t know but for some reason that tingling in my right eye which I was complaining about before is getting worse. I think the rate is almost at par with my heartbeat I kept on winking. Also, my legs are hurting I feel like a varicose vein is about to sprout. We haven’t reached CnK yet and already I feel my excitement ebb away and worst, replaced with frustration. This isn’t the girlbonding I’m expecting it to be. They can always have time for themselves. But as for me, I’m not staying too long. I want to spend more time with her trying on tops with our most favorite sweetheart necklines or slip-on the most darling shoes we’ll ever find. Some days ago, I invited Joy to sleep over in my hotel tonight but she cancelled earlier because she doesn’t want to leave Juliet behind. But what about me? Am I not important anymore? Half-blinded by disappointed tears, I went out of the toy area and schlepped to where my feet would lead me. God, what DRAMA!! But what can I do? I’m the veteran of hormonal imbalances and no one messes with that. I landed on what must be a department store and plonked myself on an encircled chair ignoring the different stares of strangers as they see my eyes turn pink.

This is wrong. All wrong. Joy and I may have had slight misunderstandings before but we never reached this point. But I was hurt and I need to get away to think clearly. I stayed there for like 15 mins and it’s almost 9 when I left. I was hoping that for that span she’ll call me. After all, I’m a stranger to the place but I didn’t get any. What if I was kidnapped or anything bad happened to me, doesn’t she care? The more I was hurt. I returned to the place and when I was aboard the downstair escalator, I saw them on the opposite side going upstairs. I opened my mouth to shout to them but no voice came out. How?? I can’t even bring myself to speak to them.

So I stayed there in the second floor for some more minutes before I finally summoned my courage to call. I know it has to end that way. I left without them knowing and it would be rude to just leave and go home
(or to hotel at least).

I was still silent the whole time I was with them. I actually ignored Joy when she asked me “Badtrip ka?” We finally reached CnK where everyone’s gagging on the sale but honestly I can’t get excited anymore. Gosh, maybe I should always be in this mood to save money, haha!!

Knowing that it’s so uncommon for me to just stare on those shoes and bags on a Charles n Keith sale, they got this idea that maybe I was hungry. So we went right after to MOS burger where Joy treated me for some cheeseburger and sat beside me for atonement. Her usual way is of course through her jokes which I had to react to with suppressed smiles. Look at the pictures below,

MOS Cheeseburger

Then they started conversing,

Joy: Bakit kaya MOS Cheeseburger ang pangalan nito?
Juliet: Ano ka ba!? MOS!! E di pinaka!

And by that time, I can’t hide anymore. I gave out a chuckle and in turn showed them this very funny video saved in my phone. I’m so shallow talaga! By the time we walked out of the fastfood, I’m already in my usual joker self. :P

Make Me Wanna

Frequenting Perez Hilton's site make me wanna:

(a) Oogle on this guy whom I don't even know where he stars, haha! (Sorry, I'm not updated on Hollywood shows but he's zo gorgeous.)

Chace Crawford
(b) Cut my hair like hers. What with that length on the rage on local screens, I wonder if it will suit me. Hmmm?

Tom and Katie

(c) Perform the supposed-to-be choreo of Brit Brit's VMA maybe on one of our upcoming programs. Yay! Haha..I still haven't lost that fantasy on dancing with Brit's ditty. Check it out, nice moves!

(d) Appreciate Hayden's Panattiere's efforts for saving the dolphins. Aah, poor creatures. The longer footage made me cry, sob! =,(

Those are some juicy tidbits I gathered. You may want to check it out for yourself. Caveat though, it's not really a salubrious site ;)

My Beyonce Experience

My over-all Beyonce experience was _______________. Wow! I really can’t put exactly into words. I wish I can combine all the adjectives and come up with a word such as floccinaucinihilipilification but something like that in its opposite.

My ticket was ehem..VIP left. It’s the most expensive I’ve had in my whole concert-life but it was definitely worth every penny. Gosh! I speak as though I’ve worked blood and sweat in order to pay for it but actually no. Like what I said, what's the use of working for a company she endorses if we don't get free tickets? Haha!!

The news came to me on a Monday; just when I was ready to let go of this event. I totally adore Beyonce but 5K is too much for an open field concert whose venue is not even tiered and grounds not asphalted. It’s not worth my money.

So you can just imagine how happy I was then. I was dancing on the ceiling. I can’t keep out the elation on my voice everytime I speak and most important of all, I was overzealous at work! Mwahaha!!

Hindi kami masyadong excited. Take a look at photo below to see the time we arrived, haha:

a view of the stage

my attire

Yes! We’re already there right when everything’s still being set-up under the scorching heat of the sun. I was there in my, according to some officemates, “front-act” attire (wahaha) conducting training on techie stuffs on these rambunctious promo girls. Tytana drove me off to the event around 1 PM. How about that? Haha!

Around 2 hours before the concert, we were already ensconced in our seats. I’m not really good when it comes to estimating distances but it can already be considered a pretty good view. Besides, who am I to complain? And because we’re trigger-happy,

tytana and moi

For those who are familiar with her, maybe you’re all wondering why there’s suddenly a third party in the picture. So allow me to share some details and it’s worth-mentioning ‘coz it imparts a very valuable lesson. Listen up! Well, it so happened that 1 ticket from technical group got free because y’all know how technical people are right? Except me, hehe. This actually caused a kettle of fish in the office and risked my well, nice reputation but I had to do something to stay true to my dear friend Lisa.ű I informed her a day before and she was so unprepared she even had to borrow earrings from her dorm-mate. Haha!! I hope I pretty made clear the morale here: “Lucky are those who get to befriend me.” Wahaha!! Kiddin’. Later our row got completed and I’m glad that Lisa and Tytana somehow jelled. After all, they’re both my friends.Ü

The place was security-protected and we felt safe enough specially when we saw the guards perambulating in the afternoon. But we didn’t expect on this hazard in our area: ergonomic risk. Bwahaha! Boy! Did Lisa and I almost have stiff neck turning our heads to have a glimpse of the famous celebrities from the entrance on our left? Haha! We saw a lot and the most pleasing to my eyes was my girl Anne Curtis and as for Lisa, it’s none other than her idol Kris Aquino. Wahaha! Enough about us, more on Beyonce.
It was a razzle-dazzle. The moment B appeared on the stage, everybody (as expected if I may add) began standing on their chairs in sync with their whoops and shrieks. Though I know it will bring serious harm to me in the end, I’m still thankful for wearing my unlicensed to kill stilettos. When I finally saw her she looks ravishing in her shining-shimmering-splendid cheverlu dress. Haha!! She opened up with Crazy In Love and the rest is history. =P

Sorry guys but my ticket is too expensive for me to share some minutiae of the concert. Haha!! Kiddin’. Even if I want to, I can’t recall anymore the order of the songs she sang. Because the minute she started gyrating, she made me feel like a mover and shaker too! Oh and can I just add singer and whooper too? Haha!! I’m such a feeling Beyonce specially when she asked the crowd to sing “Irreplaceable”. There I was belting out the complete song in accompaniment of the guitar. Yikes, haha! But at least I got a compliment. Like what Tytana said “Bilib ako sa concert skills mo.” Haha!! I didn’t know there’s such a thing as that but thanks gurl!Ü

Another reason also is because she sang aaaaa lllllllloooooooootttttt!!! Including of which are the famous DC songs. I know she sang the most in all those but still, the impact to me is that she still recognizes her humble beginnings. And DC girls will always have a special place in my heart.ű

I once read somewhere that Rihanna’s a threat to Beyonce but I beg to disagree. She still needs to eat a lot in order to be B, not that I hate Rihanna or something. Maybe when she already made it into Hollywood that’s when I can say she’s at par with her. But for the nonce, B’s peerless.

Some disliked her closing Happy Birthday song but for me I think it’s kinda different way to end a concert. After all that’s the title of her album. I just felt a slight twinge of disappointment when she didn’t utter a single Tagalog word like “Kamusta?”, “Mahal ko Kayo” or “Mabuhay!”. I was looking for these words as I silently sadly listen to her parting song. Oh well! She’s still Beyonce, earning filthy lucre even without the Filipinos supporting her.

my poor shot of B (stupid me not studying my cam!)

And you know what to expect after concert with my girl and above all in a perfect place? Well, almost. Lisa and I were already queued for the guest list of Emba when she suddenly lost the mood; me too ‘coz my legs area already killing me I had to remove my shoes on the last set of the concert, boo! We left the place around 11:30 PM hoping that B did not confirm her visit to Emba as I hear Tim Yap talking to someone on the phone.

And to cap off my experience, I saw another have-a-picture-with-to-die-for heartthrob super-duper crush of mine while waiting for a cab: Mateo Guidiceli. Weeeeeeee!! What a night! :)

Secret Fantasies of A Hopeless Romantic

(inspired by Kinsella's Can You Keep A Secret?)

#1 Go! Ok. I know this is gross but it once occurred to me having previous, I repeat “previous” gay lover. I mean doesn’t it make you “SOMEONE” when a guy who once used to like men before actually looked at you and fell for you. It’s like you completely changing them, transfiguring them and above all leading them to the right path. Besides, aren’t those hot guys nowadays are simply the too-good-to-be-true guys. You gotta admit it! They’re……………….SAYANG! Right?

#2 It’s no secret that guys are my Achilles’ heel. But oftentimes I really really wish for a guy whom I won’t see for his physical features. And we’ll meet in this very irritating way (picture when San Cai meets Dao in Meteor Garden) and then we’ll fall for each other in the end (and I’ll realize he really fits my physical standards after all, haha!) Mind you, I have one in the office, we already had this not so good encounter, let’s just say a clash wherein I really got furious at him. Oh have I mentioned he’s also antipatiko (what do you expect, an Atenista?). But in the end, I forgot the ire and dropped it! He’s really cute. Haha!! And yes, he’s my current everyday inspiration. I’m so yucky. Gosh, I’m hopeless.

#3 Someone once told me that husbands and wives have this semblance with each other which is slowly becoming true as I study the faces of happily married couples I know. And I dread this idea ‘coz as it happens I already know someone who looks like me and it’s not that I’m closing my door on him knowing that he liked me before but it’s just that……..uhmmm…ok! I just hope it’s not entirely true. Ok?

#4 Please, please no violent reaction. But sometimes I wish for that someone familiar to turn up on my door. Realize how after all this time he was an effin’ fool to let me go blah blah blah. But there’s just one reason I want this to happen. The perfect scenario for which is to slam the door on him and just have a good laugh on it, the most worth-it sinister laugh of all. Bwahaha!!

#5 Whenever I tell my girl Lisa how I’m not so good for any guy. She’ll always encourage me with these words “Gurl, don’t lose hope. Who knows maybe we’re meant for greater things." It really sounds uplifting but honestly I can’t bring myself to believe it. But does it count things like daydreaming of Borgy Manotoc suddenly noticing you from a crowd and charmed with your personality? Or better yet Lee Joon Ki meeting in a foreign place, having a short conversation and totally hitting it off. I think I’m really not taking the practical meaning, am I? Hahaha!! But hey, just like the old saying goes “Libre mangarap.” Hahaha!!

#6 I know I shouldn’t be wishing for this but I often wonder how fulfilling it is to steal someone else’s boyfriend. (Xiela will kill me for this.) It’s like “Wow, I’m a real b*****
!” But I know it’s so hard to recover having been a victim myself. But I know it would be more acceptable if it isn’t that evil or something. It’s more of it just happened because maybe they’re not really meant for each other and we are. That ilk. Xiela, don’t worry it’s not your cupcake. :P

#7 Don’t you also wish to have a relationship with a guy best friend? Those thing in common soaps wherein you practically know each other and one accidental kiss or close encounter will make the two of you realize how much you like each other. I’m so baduy talaga. Haha!! I don’t actually have a specific guy for this. Oh, in fact I think I do. He’s not literally a best friend but there’s like a mutual unsaid untexted agreement that if all else fails and the time is right, you’ll give each other a try. Haaaaayy..

#8 Also, there’s this someone who’s been there all along. Not also your closest chum but simply a friend whose family already treats you as their own and is so so 200% approving of you for any of the guys in their clan. Hahaha!! This kind is more likely bound to be a happy ending, don’t you think?

#9 There’s also this someone who’s equally talented as you. Someone whom I’ve been wondering all this time why he hasn’t found the real love of his life. He ain’t bad physically either, matter of fact he’s a MAGNET. I’m just waiting for an encounter, a magical spark that will bring the two of you together and utter the line “it was you all along all this time”. Eewwwwwww. Haha!

#10 It could also be someone who’s miles away (you’re so many miles away from me, haha!) Someone you like for exactly the way they are but sadly distance kept you apart.

And to all of this allow me to give my most world-weary sigh…Haaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy..

Lastly, if I tell you item for item who these guys are..would you keep it a secret??????? Sshhhhhhhhh!!!

SG Day 4b Travelogue: Sweet Goodbye

We’re compatible! Totally and utterly compatible. Walking with Lawrence on the way to Pagi Sore an Indo restau, I learned that he appreciates fashion. He knows about styles, textures and fabrics. As in! I mean, how many guys have I encountered who share a vicarious interest? Answer: None. Nada. And did I hear him say his girflriend’s naïve on those things? Gosh! What kind of girl is she? I almost wanna confess “I can be your girl!” Eewww. Hahaha!

Honestly, it’s been addling my brain since last night how he often says that their relationship is perfect because they’re completely the opposite of each other. Don’t get me wrong here. Yeah I know there’s a rule in physics that opposites attract but what about that compatibility thingy? Haven’t they heard about the rule on……..uhmmmmmmm..aaaahhhhh..ok! I can’t recall any rule to oppose that. Hahaha!!

Let’s just put it squarely. If he was sweet earlier then I’ll return the favor, simple as that. Since I was seated next to him, I get to serve him with the viands on the table: as in putting some of the food right on his plate. But before you accuse me and lambaste me with “You-b****-boyfriend-stealer-home-wrecker (huh?)”. Allow me to explain. I perfectly understand where I stand. I guess I just missed that feeling of having someone to care about. Is that supposed to be a crime?

Training keeps ‘til 3 o’clock. A bit earlier than the usual to give way for some who already scheduled their flights home this evening, including him. Boo-hoo! But I would just like to note how he solved a software application network connectivity problem during the training. I know I’m supposed to be knowledgeable on this networking stuff and all and mentioning it means adulating him but really, he’s AMAZING! =P

At the end of the training, I finally get to clear the issue to Alex in a friendly way. He in turn vindicated me to the SG team. He didn’t have to explain how he got that ill-founded info ‘coz my brain already processed the scenario right when I heard the word “Rose.” And the story goes a little something like this, haha!

You see, when Alex visited the Philippines, I was still new back then. I suppose he was asking about me to a certain employee but standing from afar that damned glaucomic employee may have seen his hands pointing to Rose our admin who’s the one married and who’s geologically positioned next to me. Tsk tsk Alex! That’s what you get for undercovering my status. And now you’re bragging about recently having a girlfriend??? Eat your heart out! Haha!! This theory is plausible guys and I don’t really know his motives for asking but I’m inclined to think that way. Right?

My appointment with Joy is still after office hours and good thing the Vietnamese broached on going to Mustafah for some cheap take home gifts. I’ve heard about this also, it’s where I can exchange my USDs for higher rate. So off we went the 3 of us to SYED road near Little India. We dropped by the mall quickly which I had no qualms about even if it's a MALL coz (1) I’m really scared of the place there are a lot of Indians and (2) I didn''t find any interesting thing to buy on that mall. Besides, we have to hurry back to the hotel to get their luggage and catch their flight home.

Time passes really quickly. It was just last night that I met two wonderful people and now they’re leaving. Sad. Just like a child frustrated on a situation, I protruded my lips just when they were about to bid their goodbyes. Believe me guys, I did it just to make the situation lighter so I was really surprised when Lawrence dropped his luggage , opened his arms and said “Come here.”

For some seconds, I was like “Am I dreaming? Is it a mirage?” haha! I think I almost threw myself on him it must be a spring on my feet or something, haha!! But I hugged also Supachai who was rather shocked so I won’t be obvious. :P

And there! My so-called “burgeoning” romance ended LIKE THAT. Haha! (Sam, are you disappointed? wehehe.) They made their way to the taxi and I waved them my goodbye.

Phew! Fridays are really eventful days. I can’t believe I haven’t covered another drama on that night so I guess I’ll just have to create a Part C for this. :)
