Yup.. Just like any other ordinary weekend, i spent the holiday season catching up on the latest flicks (well at least those available in rentals) and I must say, "Oh Boy, I had a good one!" :D Here's the list of my movie marathon last week and what I briefly have to say about 'em.

2. American Dreamz - the dreams with a Z. Mandy's fat in here.. =P

6. Bring it On All or Nothing - I still have a hang-over on this Shabooya thingy..lols..Well, I just found it out that it's an urban word really used as routine in introducing the squad..hmmm, not bad a movie for a new fyi..ayt? :>

8. Elizabethown - kinda boring at first but I appreciate the roadtrip in the end! :-)
9. You Me and Dupree - funny! :)) i was delighted to hear 'bout that "-ness thing" Dupree kinda invented in here. Well, it's just that personally i attach it to some common words to make fun of it just like those found in gay lingos. ;)

There you have it. I hope I'll have the time and the company next time to go for the big screen. It's been months now that I haven't been to the moviehouse. =<

Relieved

Last Tuesday I went to Makati Med to finally get the result of the sonomammography (breast ultrasound) I took. Yep, I'm sensing some abnormalities on the right part. But according to the doctor's finding:

Distinct hypoechoic masses with suggestively benign sonographic features, bilateral.

Simply put, it's negative. Haha! :D It's been nights that I'm crying over this due to possibility of undergoing surgery(takot aku eeeh). Now I can stop worrying about this anymore.

The Spirit of Giving

They say that this month,

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year.”
“It’s the season to be jolly.”

Well it’s true at least for others. I don’t know why, but during this season (Q4 in particular) I always find myself a VICTIM!!
I just lost my phone recently and I can still vividly recall around September last year my how my bag was stolen. It contains my laptop along with other cherished personal belongings.

I can only console myself by knowing that at least, for the 2nd time I made someone’s holiday seasons happy (even if through illegal means). =(
I pray that next year will be a good one and I sincerely hope that what’s lost will be returned in due time.

The Black Sheep

My brother's first ever TV commercial is out.
I know the appearance is very quick but I truly believe that someday he'll make it in the limelight.. ;)

Hmm..who would have thougt that the black sheep we once knew would make the family so proud? I still remember how Kuya and I once used to tease him for his poor english compositions in grade school. My golly, you must see Mama & Papa as well how he brags on our neighbors and calls on our relatives about his exposures. ( Maybe Mama is more proud because he's continuing a career that she turned down long ago.) Now, he's earning on his own even not yet graduating. That endorsement was worth more than my 2 months salary. Hehe

Well the fact that I'm writing something about him here makes him a bit special (we're not that close nman kasi). Yes he is. It's true that we oftentimes quarrel on a lot of things and for that I hate him but wla lng, I just can't deny that feeling of being a proud sister of his. Hope he'll have lots of projects to come. Hmm, PBB will be a good one. Haha!! :D
