Music21 Updates

Just got a new CD for myself! I've been craving for this album for a long time now. It was since I was moved with "I Believe In You and Me" in one of the mushy shows I watched. ;) Never mind the fact that I can get it cheaper via burning mp3s. Hey, it's Whitney Houston and not just any other. After all, even by just looking on the songs selection you'll already know that it's worth the price. =>

Another update, I'm very excited for upcoming album of my 1st favorite girlband, ALL SAINTS. Yup, they're already reunited. I wonder what's their fashion statement today now that they're all mommies. Still sporty? Nah, i don't think so. Let's just watch out for it. =>

Gosh, I really missed him. Rumors going around that he's about to leave the company..
Truth is, he was just away for a biz trip ( i just learned through my stalking power..hahaha!! =D)
I saw him this morning during breakfast and oh my!! he's still hot..I'm so blissful! =))
Our roads crossed again accidentally this lunch..It's kinda special coz to me that's how it all started..
He's really one special guy!! Because of him, I totally forgot all the bad things that happened yesterday.. =)
Maybe he's the reason why I'm pretty in pink today but i think the color of today is RED for LOVE??? ahihi..

Oooh, I didn't imagine I had resemblance with Lucy Liu. hihi

As you would expect, I tried on a lot of my pics hoping to see nicer results ( ya know what i mean ;-) and my most favorite result is this:



I just can't believe it. Song Hye Kyo indeed aka Jenny of Full House =D. Well, it's just 72% accurate, hehe..
Not surprising that I saw a lot of Asian stars in almost all of the pixies I uploaded. Maybe it's because of my chinita eyes. Hehe.. But in almost all of them, this one celebrity appeared in 6 out of 8 pics i've uploaded.

Do you know her? She's Ueto Aya. The site is so kewl that it also has info on the celebrities and I found out that she's a young superstar in Japan.
Do I really look like her? All I can say is that she's one pretty talented girl. Hmm, I wonder how will everybody treat me if I'll visit Japan one of these days..hahaha!!! =))
Just to segue, while doing this I remembered last week I was mistaken by a taxi driver for a local TF star here with initials KK, duh!!

I already watched Nina sang this last Sunday in ASAP. I admit it will mean enitrely different to me had I heard it in another point of my life. But last night while listening to RX, I just found myself FROZEN as I hear it again. I don't know what' has gotten into me (knowing that I'm perfectly ok!).

I just remembered that in the past, I attempted to write a poem with the same thought and title..The first few lines of which goes something like this,

Then I can't continue anymore..Haha!! It just occured to me back then that the notion was pointless..
So going back to the song, was I moved with the thought?

One of the things I would love to do given the chance..I'm glad that my brother's fulfilling that dream of mine..
That's why I'm soooooooooooo proud of him and a number 1 supporter in all his endeavors..
As of now, I can't just help but sing that line.. "I'm Gonna Be A SuperModel!" :D

Must Read: A Whack On The Side Of The Head

..i actually won this book from a class i enrolled at work. I got so much fun reading it that I vowed to myself from now on, I will be an advocate of creative thinking.=D..

Just like the author, let me begin this post by asking, "When was the last time you came up with a creative idea and what was it?"

I paused for a while and said to myself, "Gosh, I can't even remember when!"

Then I got startled when I came upon one section of the book where an interview was made a woman and she said:" Whenever we hire new people, we're not concerned with how intelligent or efficient they are. To me the important characteristics are their playfulness and intensity. When people have these two traits, they're enthusiastic - and these are the ones who generate new ideas."

Indeed, in this fast-paced world of ours, all of us have become creatures of habit when it comes to doing things that deviating from the normal may cause us prize like time and effort. But think about it, if we will not use our creative thinking capability of ours, what difference will each of us make?

The book offered a lot of tips in keeping our mental juices flowing. It's just a matter of doing something to the knowledge that is already stacked in our crania. One of those I want to apply is about play. True enough, "If mother is the invention of necessity, play is certainly the father." If we will unleash the child within us, we can generate a lot of ideas without worrying much about the rules, practicality or being wrong. This has a close connection with another tip mentioned in the book about putting on a fool's cap. I learned that in ancient times it was the fool's duty to whack the king's thinking out of habitual thought patterns. I liked it so much since this involves taking things lightly,laughing at crazy ideas and thinking if it's crazy enough. Ponder on this:

It's not so important to be serious as it is to be serious about the important things. The monkey wears an expression of seriousness that would do credit to any great scholar. But the monkey is serious because he itches. Haha!! =D

I also learned that the author got his inspiration in creative thinking from ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus. In the last part of the book, heenlisted Heraclitus' epigrams which he referred to as Ancient Whacks. It's already some sort of exercise for the readers to interpret since there are no right answers. This one's my favorite:

"When we're awake, there is one ordered universe, but in sleep each of us turns away from this world to one of our own."

The author interpreted this about paying attention to our dreams. According to him, dreams can be stimulant to our imagination. A dream can even be a solution to one of our current problem!

But if i was to interpret it, I will focus more on the term ordered. Meaning, when we are sleeping random thoughts flow in our head. We can dream of chaos, anarchy or anything that we're afraid to happen. There's more to elaborate on this one. I still have to figure out. After all, as Heraclitus put it, "You can't step into a river twice." Like a flowing river that constantly changes, his whack may have a different assumption at a different point in my life. ;)

Okay. I once thought that my friendster blog would already suffice for all my thoughts. In that way, I will only need one site to save in my favorites in my IE. I just noticed recently that it has a very limited memory tht old posts got covered in lieu of the new ones. Besides, I lately realized that I need a separate site that will unleash the artist in me..:D ( if you only knew, grabe na ang pagdecipher ng mga codes =) Yeah, still mastering this craft so you could expect the very much of Cassey in here..Well for starters, there's butterflies and dolls..very gurly.. ;-) I'm a transfer also all of my works from the previous site but that entails a lot of work so I hope I'll have the time..hihi.
